During ww2 we managed to feed over four hundred thousand pow's along with every troop wherever they were and the public.

With no food shortages. I recently watched a few documentaries mainly about how German prisoners were amazed about america's ability to produce, everything. I do believe they were the people who helped Germany see the error of its ways with their dictatorship that forced hardships on many and after the war helped to change Germany into what it is today.

2025 People in America are concerned about their food and the cost of eating. We are worried about feeding ourselves in today's America, what happened?

Try to refrain from blaming regulations.

I go to the grocery store 5 or so times a week. Shelves are always full. It is amazing that you can get fresh produce 12 months a year.

I'm amazed I can afford fresh produce 9 months of the year.

I see plenty of things in the grocery stores, doesn't mean I can afford them and yes, with a global economy we can get fresh produce all year. I don't buy wagyu steaks but I see them. Since you go to the grocery store quite frequently, do you notice an increase in prices?

Real wages are up finally. For 4 years, inflation ate any increases.

Prices don't seem to change much lately. It was ugly for a while. NY strip was 7.99 the last week or so. Not my favorite cut but it comes out good on the smoker. Wish I had room in a freezer.

Quiet a difference from the store shelves in any Communist, centrally planned economy.
Now why would any US citizen want to change what we have for that?
(Thinking of Mandani & government run grocery stores).

I go to the grocery store quite frequently myself and prices are going up. My coffee rose five bucks a can, one item. A decent steak now costs over twenty bucks, that's insane and what do we hear, the herds are small and an eternity of excuses why prices are going up. Farmers are taking a bit hit not being able pick their crops due to labor shortages. Prices will continue to increase from trump idiotic tariffs and his and the gop's hard on to deport so many decent people for the soul reason of wanting to improve their lives.

Were you also amazed that food was rationed in the United States from 1942-1947?
His knowledge of actual facts is pretty weak. He continues to put the “duh” in Florida-duh.
