During my annual physical my Doctor begged me to bring all my vaccinations up to date (non-COVID) due to Government and Insurance Companies

He said he was telling all of his patients the same due to the uncertainty of guidance from Federal AND State Government (I just turned 60 and live in the South) and wanted as many of his patients protected in case vaccines became hard to get and/or if insurance companies started not covering things.

When he saw that we were on the same page he seemed relieved (I guess because he knew he wouldn't have to explain things to me).

So I got the boosters. I didn't get a COVID booster or the Flu shot because they weren't available at that office (and it's probably way too early anyway).

That's were Trump/RFK Jr/MAGA have all of us now. Forcing doctors to protect as many people as fast as possible.

For shame.

PS: Tons of MAGAs who fight against vaccinations ARE ALREADY VACCINATED.

I will be seeing my doctor in several days and I will pointedly ask him for a written recommendation for a COVID booster. His office called me the other day and asked me to bring in any advanced directives or living will so he can document it. Neither of us wanted to get married again and I said it's nothing a will won't take care of in the future. Funny thing, I know he's a republican.

But what does your lawyer say?

Had a similar experience during my yearly physical.
Doctor said it would not be a bad idea to make sure all my vaccinations are up to date as he thinks insurance companies will use the Trump regime policies to start denying coverage for getting vaccinations.

Damn. I didn't think to do that.

Which is insane because it will cost the insurance companies MORE money.

I agree but that is the talk he has been hearing.
I took his advice and am all current on all vaccinations, including a covid booster for the current variant running through the US.

Have my appointment for my Covid and flu shots Tuesday.

I'll probably do the same.
