I missed this NSRC ad when it dropped last month but its idiocy is timeless.

"Medicare as we know it will change, replaced by a government-run program."

(In a similarly dumb vein, the ad also suggests Bullock will "force rural hospitals to close," even though the Montana Hospital Association has specifically commended Bullock's Medicaid expansion for ensuring the viability of rural hospitals.)

The GOP has left no room for parody anymore.

They are pandering to a group of people who think that believe that education beyond anything more than reading at a 6th-grade level, writing your name and simple addition and subtraction is intellectual elitism. Reagan was very successful in his propaganda that the government is the problem and now how we solve problems and now we have Trump and the current GOP who have taken that idea to its libertarian zenith.

Idiocracy is now a documentary.

I still don't understand how The Onion and Andy Borowitz have kept their jobs because you cannot parody the current GOP.

Never heard of the guy, but typically those advocating for fewer doctors and longer wait times are Democrats.

What does the right advocate for regarding health care and those without health insurance?

Does the average Republican know Medicare is a government program? I would've thought yes, but if the NSRC thinks not perhaps there's reason to doubt.

I would hope that they do but there may be many people who do not know that it is a government managed program. I cannot imagine that anyone who receo0ves Medicare benefits would not know that is a government run problem because you need to go to the Social Security office to sign up for it.

I am amazed that how many people dont know what the FICA deduction on your paycheck pays for.

Now is the perfect time to remind people what FICA pays for--and the dangers of deciding not to bother collecting it.
