Dr. Fauci Can't Explain Why Texas COVID Cases Keep Dropping Despite Reopening

I guess he has run out of lies to tell?
---------------------

More than a month has passed since Texas Gov. Greg Abbott shocked the Faucis of the world by scrapping COVID-inspired restrictions on businesses and individuals, including removing the mask mandate. The decisions prompted Dr. Anthony Fauci and legions of public health "experts" to warn about the devastating consequences - thousands of unnecessary deaths would result, they said - however, as the data show, practically every metric has shown that the Lone Star State's outbreak has continued to recede, even as blue states like Michigan are seeing a new surge in infections (believed to be driven by "mutant" strains).

As epidemiologists everywhere have struggled to come up with an explanation, it's worth noting that Texans are dining out more, according to Opentable seatings, which have become a closely watched proxy for post-quarantine economic activity

Well there is no mystery about why Florida is surging again with over 5000 new cases a day with the new and twice as infectious UK covid variant. Perhaps Texas does not have it.....yet.

Maybe Texas is fudging the numbers. It would not be unlike republican led states to do something like that, now would it.

No maybes about it. Almost EVERY red state has been either fudging them or attempting to do so. Florida did it so egregiously that there may be a criminal investigation in the offing.

ZeroHedge - Media Bias Fact Check

Fake news! What a humiliation!

Why do VySky/Zimmerman rely on fake news?

.

Because they both get paid $14.88 for every post.

I don't count on them to say if they do.

when we have the next pandemic i think we'll react the exact same way (a bunch of idiots screaming "freedom" as Americans and healthcare professionals drop).

Oh Hell no.
For one thing, assuming that a "global pandemic response team" is reinstated with full resources, next time a pandemic pops up outside the US, travel to the US will be restricted until they can get a handle on the vectors.
For another federal and state agencies will not be at war with each other for resources like they were in 2020.

In fairness, when he said we didn’t need masks he was lying to protect the supply.
To be really fair the asymptomatic spreaders were unknown at that time also. That is what makes Covid so dangerous and masks so effective. People who can spread the flu are always sick as dogs too.

To be really fair the asymptomatic spreaders were unknown at that time also. That is what makes Covid so dangerous and masks so effective. People who can spread the flu are always sick as dogs too.

It was known that asymptomatic persons can spread it but the part that wasn't known was how quickly and easily.
That is the variable and as we have now learned, some mutations of the virus are much more transmissible than others.

Covid was a new coronavirus virus.

Early on when mask wearing was discouraged doctors and scientists were unaware that a person showing no symptoms of Covid could carry it and spread it other persons.
In fact over half of all Covid 19 cases are likely caused by people who show no symptoms of a Covid illness.

From a January 2021 article.

https://www.healthline.com/health-news/most-covid-19-cases-come-from-people-without-symptoms

That is true.

However, the obvious question is this:

If there was no answer, then why was one person, Trump, said to be lying while another person, Fauci, was presented as an all knowing, all seeing master of all knowledge? Often, these two said the same things.

Fauci was wrong as often as was Trump and probably was the guy feeding Trump oddly odd opinions on various things.

Trump was relaying the opinions of experts, including Fauci, that they gave him as he sought an avenue to re-open the country and stop the ridiculous shut downs that seem to have been as much political as they were scientific.

Another scientific use of observing how this virus spreads beyond the more esoteric politics is in the realm of weaponization.

The ideal weaponized virus infects easily and shows no symptoms for long periods. Slow appearance of symptoms allows wide community spread. Covid is not as lethal as an ideal weaponized virus should be.

However, the malevolent among us can observe the documented spread of Covid and use it as a "project plan" if a Weaponized virus attack is to be executed.

The direction indicated when he made those statements. Next?

That is true.

He was guessing every time and there was no relation to actual, verifiable science in any of the guesses.

In truth, there was actual propaganda intended to illicit defined behaviors from members of the general public that were in direct opposition to the "science" as it was understood at the time.
