Am I doing something wrong? Every time I click the thanks button it double thanks or tells me I already thanked the post. I am carefully clicking--not doing anything weird, I mean. Maybe I'm just REALLY grateful and the computer knows it;) . Anyway--it's weird.

Felicity... I have notified vauge via PM.

What "display" mode are you using?

Linear, Hybrid or threaded?

(if you've changed nothing it is Linear)

Linear. I did change the number of posts that display per page, but the problem showed up only recently and I changed it quite some time ago.

I just thanked you, vauge, and it's still doin' it.

If it is double thanking, then what can I do to bribe you to throw a few of those thanks my way? :mrgreen:

Luck of the draw....it only gave you one--but I did get the message I had already thanked your post. Sorry...I'll try again next time. I do love your creativity!

Too weird - anyone else having this issue?

A few questions:

What OS are you using? (Windows, Mac, Linux)
What Browser and version are you using?
How many Liberals does it take to...(just kidding)

Any additional info you can provide would be helpful. :)

OS = Windows
Browser = Internet Explorer 6
Liberals = It doesn't take any liberals...it only requires SCOTUS... :mrgreen:

I don't know what else would help...it just started as of the 15th as far as I can tell.

It's not really a problem--it just requires I refresh after I give a thanks.

Liberals to change a light bulb? Thats an easy one. I'll take it.

One to see that the light bulb needs changing.

3 more to confirm the fact that the light bulb needs changing.

5,453 members of the electrical workers union to vote to change the light bulb.

Once the vote is taken, then it goes to the City Council, which votes on it. City Council consists of 13 members.

54 city administrators to prepare the paperwork for the vote.

83 more city administrators to prepare the paperwork after the vote is taken.

It then goes up the line to state government.

142 State Congressmen to vote on changing the light bulb.

42 State Senators to vote on changing the light bulb.

276 administrators to do the paperwork before and after the vote.

1 Governor, who signs the bill for changing the light bulb into law.

The bill, however, is one that authorizes the Federal government to change the light bulb, so it goes to the House - 232 Liberals, and the Senate - 49 Liberals, and gets vetoed by the president. The light bulb cannot be changed until the next election. Meanwhile, 1,463 administrators have taken care of the required paperwork.

Due to his ineptness, there is a Democratic landslide, and a Democratic president is sworn in in 2008. The bill is presented again to Congress - 268 Liberals in the House, and 61 Liberals in the Senate approve the bill. 2,187 administrators do the paperwork this time (Once the Liberals took control, bureaucracy went through the roof).

Finally, Michael Moore writes a column that changing the light bulb was unfair, since we did not give the old light bulb a chance to mend its ways and rejoin society by turning back on. His movie on the subject becomes the number one box office draw in France.

Total number of Liberals required to change a light bulb? 10,329. Total time required to change the light bulb? 2.78 years.

Hey danarhea...maybe you have to say something nice about me to get the double whammy...both times it's taken was on posts that were compliments. Kinda weird, no?

Several more double thanking--I don't know if it adds up in my "thanks" counter--but I would assume. Is anyone else having this issue?
