Don't defy our decisions, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch tells judges​


As lower court judges apply Supreme Court decisions to Trump administration disputes, some justices don’t think they’re getting it right − and potentially deliberately so.

“Lower court judges may sometimes disagree with this Court’s decisions, but they are never free to defy them,” Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch recently admonished in a particularly pointed statement joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

When the MAGA scum on the SCOTUS applies this to dumpytits they MIGHT be taken seriously. Until then, they can go **** themselves.

They are an illegitimate body of traitors at this time.

This SC is illegitimate and needs to go. We cannot move forward as a country with this group left in place. Dems need to understand and accept this. Nothing changes without changing the SC.

Absolutely correct. We also need to make certain that Catholics are never allowed on the SCOTUS or in any federal or state court again.

I understand how you feel. I don't really want to do it either but look at the treason they are responsible for.

Why give them a chance to do it again?
 
Stop doing stuff on the Shadow Docket, then Neil. And give a reasoned opinion for your actions.

If you’re going to overrule Humphrey’s Executor, then do so on a fully briefed merits case with a written decision.

I wouldn't expect any honesty from that collection of traitors.

All of the right-wing SCOTUS members need to be removed in disgrace and be branded traitors.

NOTHING they do or say can be trusted at this time. They are illegitimate. Once the next democrat gets elected POTUS, the court can be repaired, and the traitorous scum can be removed.
 
This pissing contest between the Supreme Court and lower courts is not going to result in good things, despite Gorsuch's intentions.

On one hand, I get it. The Supreme Court is the highest role and final authority in the interpretation of the Constitution and various law. In a perfect world lower courts must follow the decisions and precedents set by the Supreme Court.

On the other hand, the Judicial Branch of our government has become an epic shit show of political in the bubble intentions, chaotic decision making to adhere to the wishes of an autocratic President, and ultimately a mess for the nation to deal with. That alone is going to cause issues for lower courts dealing with various challenges by numerous parties and states where the arguments do not necessarily mean adherence to prior Supreme Court decision. Whatever legal issue(s) are being argued will not always lineup to prior challenges, some yes and some not so much.

I may even go so far as to say the Supreme Court (and Trump for that matter) did this to themselves, the more politicized expected decisions are realized the more these challenges will question prior precedent and put continued stress on down the road actions (or inactions) by Trump, Congress, or anyone else.
 
At this time, SCOTUS is illegitimate and corrupt. They are not to be trusted.

The right-leaning justices need to be removed and stripped of all licensures. Alito and Thomas need to serve life without parole.

I am not denying any of that, what I am saying is the rhetoric is rather useless.

This is the condition we find ourselves in and it does not appear to be changing anytime soon.

Fair enough.

Once dumpletits is out, it will. The next democrat has to stack the court to protect the American people. The current right-wing justices on the SCOTUS are traitors. Adding new justices will negate their influence.

This will allow for sanity to return to the country.
