Donald Trump's New Jersey Golf Course Allegedly Gave Fake Green Cards

I would be happy to submit a list of some of the crimes that are under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Federal crimes include mail fraud, aircraft hijacking, carjacking, kidnapping, bank robbery, child pornography, credit card fraud, identity theft, computer crimes, federal hate crimes, violations of the Federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, obscenity, tax evasion, counterfeiting, violations of the Espionage Act, violations of the Patriot Act, illegal wiretapping, art theft from a museum, damaging or destroying public mailboxes, electoral fraud, immigration offenses.

Links and quotes are really unnecessary considering the broad range of crimes the FBI has authority to investigate. As you can clearly see, investigation of an individual or individuals in a case of fraud by falsifying social security numbers and creating fake IDs in order to conceal the use of illegal immigrants working in the United States is within the scope of the FBI authority to investigate.

In other words, you could find no examples of current FBI investigations into other golf courses for allegedly employing illegal immigrants.

You were challenging the validity of the FBI's ability or legal jurisdiction to investigate such a crime. If you want a list of crimes the FBI investigates I gave you that list. Now, if you want to dig deeper into the legalities of their ability to investigate crimes then you will have to prove they don't. You should understand that when a crime is reported, it's the job of law enforcement to investigate it. Here's the fact. There was a crime reported and they're investigating those allegations and if that doesn't sit right with you that's just too bad, isn't it. That's the law, like it or not.

And therein lies the real problem, employing illegal immigrants...is a profit center.

Until that is addressed, the repubs will never truly reform law and instead rely upon what is the symbolism

of a $20 billion wall. A wall, that will change none of this.

The right are in a quandary, it can't be both rent-seekers and reform let alone enforce...ALL immigration laws.

Couldn't agree with this more. There's money to be made from the cost savings found in hiring low wage workers; a savings that's passed to the pockets of the owners of those businesses. Because this is embedded into many industries, there's no quick fix. This is one of the reasons the idea of a wall to me is laughable because it doesn't address the cause for immigrants seeking better opportunities. If you're not going to start off by enforcing laws that can have a drastic impact on the demand, the rest is just putting band aids and a large wound.

Lets see how this actually turns out after a full and complete investigation.
If there has been a violation of our immigration laws prosecute the responsible people.

The story reads like nothing but another hit piece with the president as the target.

If it did happen does anyone here think the president had any involvement with what
happened?

LOL No one get's prosecuted for hiring illegals least of all TrumpCo.
