As any American who has served in the US military will attest, US soldiers are not, in any manner, trained to perform police duties. They are trained to protect America from foreign attacks and aggression.

In contrast, the militaries of dictatorships are trained to protect the dictator and his ruling cabal from any internal threats. See the red sentence above.

The military does two things and only two things, very well: Kill people and break things.

Nobody does that more effectively than the US military.

When you deploy US military assets, it is because you need, or anticipate the need, to kill people and/or break things.

Keep that in mind as you see NG units patroling your city streets.
