Donald Trump missile defense review calls North Korea 'extraordinary threat'

WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump unveiled a revamped US missile defense strategy on Thursday that called North Korea an ongoing and “extraordinary threat”, seven months after he declared the threat posed by Pyongyang had been eliminated.

Comment:

It is, indeed, somewhat difficult to keep track of what the latest version of the currently operative, officially approved, "Team Trump sanctioned, Truth-of-the-Day is - isn't it?

What's next - that ISIS has NOT been defeated or that "The Wall" has already been built?

You have to ignore everything that Trump says and judge him based on the results. NK has not been testing nukes. NK has not been testing missiles. NK is talking to both the US and SK. The problem doesn't get solved overnight. The Middle East problem has not been solved in decades or even centuries. The important part is things are more peaceful now than they were and we are aware that NK is still a major threat.

Obama is who America wants to be.
Trump is who we are.

We deserve this craziness.

Anywho, remember to vote in 2020, folks.

Sent from Trump Plaza's basement using Putin's MacBook.

The entire world and Americans think, no, they know that the real thread is Trump

Quite right.

In fact, according to the most reliable reports available, all that the DPRK has been doing is building more of the devices and missiles that it considers that it has "tested successfully".

NK is talking to both the US and SK.

True, and the contents of those talks are quite different.

The problem doesn't get solved overnight.

Since Mr. Trump announced that "the problem" had already been "solved", you have me confused.

The Middle East problem has not been solved in decades or even centuries.

Quite right, that problem has persisted ever since the Western Nations created it.

The important part is things are more peaceful now than they were ...

Would that "peaceful now" be judged against the situation BEFORE the US invaded Afghanistan and Iraq, the situation WHILE the US was invading Afghanistan and Iraq, or the situation AFTER the US had completed the conquest of Afghanistan and Iraq (and installed new "friendly" government)?

...and we are aware that NK is still a major threat.

Mr. Trump doesn't appear to be aware of that fact. Well, either he isn't aware of it or he isn't going to admit to it because to admit to it would mean that he had failed.
