Re: Donald Trump Is Against 'Gun-Free Zones' but Guns Aren't Allowed on Many of His P
But let's compare.
Domestic Policy: Universal Health Care, paid for by government. Higher minimum wage. Larger, more intrusive government. No entitlement reform. Higher taxes on upper income earners. Restricting the First Amendment. Restricting the Second Amendment.
There two people are not noticeably different.
On foreign policy, Hillary represents a sort of more-competent status quo. Trump represents an interesting mix of ignorance, stupidity, and bat-****. Hillary will be more reliably sane, but still wrong. Trump will be less stable, meaning that, like a blind squirrel, he may find a nut, but he will be easily manipulated by Putin, and wants people like me to hunt down and murder women and children.
Here these two are different mostly in that they are different flavors of disastrous.
Hope is not a strategy. You don't marry a drunk to "change him". The Pollyanna "Gosh maybe he will turn into a conservative once he has no incentive to!" argument is unconvincing at best.

No, it isn't. The elections of 2020 and 2024 will be more important, because that's when we are going to have to do entitlement reform. At that point either we start reversing course, or dive full bore into socialism. We've already lost the other issues for 2016, so positioning well for 2020 is the most important issue remaining.so tell me, why is Trump as bad as Hillary. and that is the only question that matters in this 2016 election
