Donald Trump is angry at Gov. Brian Kemp because he went ahead and certified the votes in Georgia for Joe Biden. Of course, Trump has helped put Kemp in the seat of governor and feels that Brian Kemp was not loyal to him by cheating and not certifying Joe Biden.

Trump is going even a step further by asking Brian Kemp to 'call off' the 2 Senate runoff races in January. Donald Trump just does not know how things work and this is how a US election works. He just can't understand why his Republican Governors just will not break the law for him.

I hope that more Republicans will begin to 'get it' and that this is nothing less than an attempt at a political coup.

He's been spewing multiple false claims about the election that he clearly and obviously lost. That's the behavior of a toddler who has gotten their toys taken away.

It's kinda funny seeing Republicans start fighting each other. Calling off the election would be a use of stupidity over anything else

The sound of a mouse farting...

And impossible. It would require overturning a law that the state of Georgia has already implemented...for the benefit of conservatives! How fascinating that this right-wing extremist president is attacking runoff elections that are specifically designed to benefit his side. But now that he's lost his own election fair and square, the Georgia Senate runoffs don't benefit him.

Also, I cannot understate the irony of trump attacking Brian Kemp. Kemp won his own primary runoff against the much saner but still very conservative Casey Cagle in 2018 and then went on to rig his own "victory" against Stacey Abrams. trump's endorsement was the deciding factor in the Kemp-Cagle runoff.

imo, Trump ran on the Republican ticket but he is far from being a Republican.
That may have been true in 2015, but the Republican party has been wholly remade in the image of Trump. It's the party of white grievance now.

imo,, it started before Trump with the "Tea Party" within the Republican Party. The Tea Party and Trump is the main reason I went Independent.

Trump doesn't give a damn about people other than himself. As long as he wins, he doesn't care what happens in other races as long as the outcome benefits him. If he loses, he will try to blame everyone who has even a small relation with him. This is very similar to the way a toddler acts, but we already know the rabbit hole going down that path.

Trump endorsed people that he thinks will help him. It only goes out of hand when the endorsements backfire him, and they stop being obsequious sycophants of Trump. Once he's out of the White House, it will take time for the Trumpist cult to die down, and by 2022, things should hopefully get back to normal and hopefully Abrams takes Georgia's seat and starts fixing the State.

Not to mention that calling off a Senate election would be unconstitutional and illegal

Apparently, not a problem for Donnie and his gang as they have been trying to get states to break their own state election laws for weeks now.

At some point we will all have to admit collectively that Trump is certifiably insane. History will not be kind to him.

When you read his tweets, it's sometimes easy to forget he's the President of the USA and not just some twitter hack. He's just so un-Presidential.

There was Mitch McConnell, Newt Gingrich and Jesse Helms before Trump.

Trump has always been very good at taking over dying institutions. The GOP is just one more example.

When is this gaping, spurting a**hole going to be stopped by the leaders of this country?

Trump taught us about how far Republicans will go.
Nah, what Trump did was reveal the true characteristics of the Dem party, bringing them out in the open and front and center. Dems couldn't control Trump and it drove them to obsessiveness. They are still obsessing in their hate and will for years to come.
Those now profoundly obvious Dem party characteristics: Control, Fraud, Violence and Censorship.
No clear thinking Republican wants any part of unifying with those four (extremely un-American) principles and goals.
Depending on how the GA runoffs go, we might have a chance of little damage with Mitch forming a critical wall.
If the Dems get the Senate, this country will be unrecognizable in the near future. Control, fraud, violence and censorship will rule. Our economy will crumble.

I think you're absolutely right here. I recognized that when I first started seeing Amy Kremer on CNN before the 2016 election. I thought back then; 'wow these aren't Republican talking points, this is much further right'. The massive 'Stop the Count!' Facebook group that falsely accused Democrats of “scheming” to steal the election with a plot to “nullify Republican votes”. This group was part of a coordinated campaign by Republican operatives, and has ties to the tea party.

Yet, far-right conservatives feel they're fighting 'for' democracy when all the while they're objective is to literally tear it all down, just burn it up as long as they get what they want. It's pathetic and things really need to change in this country and these far right groups like QAnon have to be revealed for what they really are.

In the most litigious country in the world, bar none, it is virtually impossible to stop somebody from going into a Court to try to gain a resolution to his grievances. It is also impossible to stop IDIOTS from sending money to a grifter on the absurd pretense that the grifter is going to use the money in a "just cause". Heck these Trumphumpers would not know a just cause if it hit them over the head attached to a grand piano.

It will end on Jan 20th and likely not a day sooner.

By the way, I guess the worst period for the Pandemic since it began is just off Donnie's radar screen entirely now as if it ever was on his radar screen as anything more than yet another political tool for his own personal aggrandizement. Scott Atlas getting out of town while the getting is good.

And Republicans can't control THE VOTE and thus they hate THE VOTE all the way to the point of willingly aiding and abetting it's destruction and with it the destruction of the Republic itself. I leave it to you to determine which viewpoint is the more American, the more patriotic.

No, Tweety taught us who is most susceptible to carnival barkers with a fourth grade vocabulary.

Trump is nowhere near being conservative either.

Trump is a proud, card carrying member of the liberal coastal elite who thinks conservatives are so dumb they'd vote for him anyway.

Trump literally, specifically, and explicitly said he thinks the govt should take guns away from Americans when the govt lacks the right to do so.

Trump is exactly the kind of person Trump supporters think they despise.

Trump supporters are hornswoggled folks whose hearts are probably pointed toward the right place.

Trump's lawyer calls for an execution yesterday.

Trump calls for canceling an election today.

Where are the decent Republicans????????????

The fact that Trump Party republicans remain silent during this crap is disgusting and anti-American. Pathetic mob they are, American trash.
