Well, I don't think he ever intended it to be an insult directed towards her. The idea likely running through his head at the time was to use her as a weapon to hit her husband with. It's probably just a matter of him never considering what his words meant when speaking towards the wife.

No, he's just a nasty, thin-skinned, narcissist, bully, who uses his wealth and power to target anyone who embarrasses him or gets in his way. Not richer or more powerful people - regular, little people.



Trump eventually responded by arguing that he had sacrificed two seasons of The Apprentice, and so Mr Khan was out of line, and shouldn't be allowed to talk about him.

You treat Gold Star families with respect. It doesn't matter what you think about their policies, their politics, you respect them and the sacrifice they've made. Trump couldn't even be bothered to fake it, and the idea that a couple of seasons of putting on a TV show is somehow equivalent to losing a son in combat is ludicrous, and shows the incredible, shallow, narcissism of the man.
