I was raised that if you can't fix the problem, don't whine about it... "Find a solution, not just a problem." was the phrase of the day when I was growing up. So when I see someone I know making an ass out of themselves, I see that as a problem that I might be able to help solve, when I see someone that I have ZERO connection with making an ass out of themselves, I see complaining about that as pointless whining. The stuff you post won't do anything to change anyone's mind about Trump, in fact, it just paints those who hate him as being loons and makes it harder for the people with legitimate issues to bring up to get taken seriously. I am with you on the aversion to whining. But in the age of helicopter parents and the nanny state is this any shock? I kid you not, in my restaurant it was not rare to have young people whine to their parents about being fired (for cause) and the parents would come to my place and argue that their kid should not have been fired, because they are "great". Too many people have been brought up to believe that all that needs to be done is say " I am scared" or "I am sad" to get some fixer to come in and fix what ever is bugging them, they never have to lift a finger.....which I presume is what you are getting at in your quote.

When I was kid, if I complained about something, the FIRST words out of my dad's mouth were almost always "Well, what are you going to do about it?" (occasionally, they were more along the lines of "Because those chickens can't feed themselves and I've got too much to do, so I suggest that you figure out how to get those 50 lb. bags of feed into that hopper and stop wasting my time."). If we truly didn't know,he'd help us to figure it out, usually by walking us through a problem solving process where he asked us question after question until we figured it out. Sometimes it was a simple matter of him teaching us something we didn't know, but after he KNEW that it was from lack of knowledge and not lack of effort.

I think that answer has to be that the FAA does not care much.

Flight plans are not required for VFR flight (not that anyone normally operates turbine equipment under VFR).

ATC doesn't probably doesn't know or care whether the plane's registration is current. They have other things to worry about.

This isn't Trump's main plane. It's one of his fleet. His main plane is a Boeing 757. This was a Cessna that seats 12. No, that is the annual (which is actually every 18 mos). This was the N registration. It's a form and $5
