But documents provided to Congress reveal $934 million that was covertly shifted from a Pentagon account earmarked for the modernization of America’s ground-based nuclear missiles. The money was moved to an unnamed classified project that budget experts have identified as Trump’s new vanity plane. If Trump has nothing to be ashamed of, why the clumsy attempt at secrecy?

Yes. Donald has set up a clear theft of almost $1 Billion dollars. And the Trumper GOP is letting him do it.
 
This is a straight up theft of tax payer dollars. A billion to refurbish a plane that he takes with him when he leaves office. It's amazing what Trumpers are willing to put up with this guy....and this while millions will lose healthcare and children lose nutritional assistance.
 
But but.... Trump told us the plane was a gift. And free!

Now the jumbo jet requires $1 billion for modernization work and Trump gets to keep it when he leaves office in 2028?

And he tries to hide this true cost within the bloated Pentagon budget?

Did all of you feel Trump reaching into your wallet to extract your contribution?

Actually Donald is kind of screwing himself. If he takes that plane with him after office, who pays to service it and fuel it? It it's him that can't be cheap.

Modernization of ground base missiles and Air Force One must be both Boeing Contracts. This might have actually been a request from Boeing.

A request to do what? The real Air Force One contract is already funded.

Boeing has already taken huge write down on air force one. They certainly don't want another one.
 
Until Congress authorizes the spend, then Trump is no better than any other President that diverts money at will from this to that.

He intends to leave office only in death. It would be fitting if there really was a god and despite the backing of so many "Christians" Donald ended up spending all of eternity in hell paying for his lifetime of sins.
 
One Billion for an aircraft that may be used for 12-18 months because of the time needed to retrofit the aircraft.

Where is DOGE when we need it? Seems a waste of money for a aircraft that will be used for less than two years.

It does seem that maga happiness depends on the misfortune of others. A shallow 'happiness' indeed.

There is something wrong with an individual who cannot be happy unless others are sad. It speaks of a tormented mind with serious long-standing issues. Therapy is indicated, not national power. Such individuals should know that it is entirely possible to be happy without making others sad. That is the socially responsible way to be happy.
 
Why does Donald Trump want our nuclear forces to be weak? Why is he a threat to national security?

The problem when you have a grifter in this kind of position, grifting gets normalized. That said, I'll reserve judgement until we know where this money's gone, but either way the whole Qatari jet thing is just one example of the grifting I referred to. Spending this kind of money for a jet that will have just 3 years of service before becoming a lawn ornament is ridiculous.
 
it most likely will be less than 3 years of service. Some estimates are 18-24 months for the retrofit.

I agree with your conclusion. Does not matter if Congress approves the funding. It is still a waste for such a short time of use.
 
When one tells the story and removes all of the names… An American President receiving a luxury Jet from a foreign country that at least a Billion in taxpayer money that is hiding in the Pentagon budget is going to refurbish the thing for his private use… who would be for that?

Say Russia three times to a certain group of people though… the magic spell gets cast and they lose all sense of reason.
