ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) – A Round Rock pastor was arrested by the FBI on child pornography charges Wednesday, the United States Department of Justice announced.

David Lloyd Walther, 56, of Georgetown, was accused of knowingly searching for, downloading, distributing and possessing child pornography, according to the DOJ.

We are all broken, flawed people, even pastors. The problem is that many in his church likely idolized him and are now let down. They never should see their pastor as anything other than another broken, flawed man. They should pray for him.

It is unfortunate that this serves to give Christianity a bad name. To the extent Christians hold themselves out as holier than others, it probably should. A real Christian, however, knows they are broken and flawed like everyone else.
