Thank God that McConnell flushed this turd.

The same day that Garland testified, eight GOP committee members sent a letter addressed to Garland calling for any information that inspired the memo other than the letter sent to the Biden administration by the National School Boards Association calling for federal action. Garland had acknowledged that the letter impacted his office's decision-making, but he insisted that it was not the sole basis for the memo.

Did someone forget to tell these dumb assess they lost control of the senate? What do you want to bet these same dipshits support Bannon defying a SUBPEONA?

President Obama should have recess appointed him. The Senate declined their duty, the executive should have just sat him.

I don't think that the minority can "set a deadline" especially on something Garland voluntarily offered.

They can if they sit on the US Senate Judiciary Committee which has oversight of the DOJ. It is very obvious that, like under Obama, Biden has weaponized the DOJ against his political opponents. The very thing that Garland stated, under oath, that he would not do when he was confirmed.

Labeling concerned parents as "domestic terrorists" was just the beginning for this piece of fascist filth.

Those parents tactics are not acceptable. It's time they acted like parents, not thugs. Most already act like mature adults; the rest need to grow up.

Parents have a constitutionally protected right to "peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances." But then again the US Constitution was never your strong point. So its understandable that you are utterly clueless about the Bill of Rights. I would advise that you actually read the First Amendment and get a clue.

The committee would have to vote and approve it in order for some deadline to have any meaning

Is threatening the life of an elected official peaceable?

Garland never said any such thing.
