It is the left who use peoples ideological beliefs as a litmus test of who can be a judge. Republicans are more prone to elect originalists to the bench.

To be fair, Trump doesn't really represent Republicans. He hijacked their party, but he's not really one himself.

As far as I know Rite Aid, CVS and Walgreen's are open to anyone. Grade schools teach kids how to put condoms on bananas, for God sake.
Is that a yes or a no, or simply a repetition of an absurd talking point about putting condoms on bananas?

Substitute the word republicans for conservatives and i will tell you whether he believes in the ideology or not he has represented it better than any other potus in a very long time.

by the Republican philosophy, of course, conservatism, a balanced budget, limited government, strict adherence to the Constitution. Trump clearly doesn't believe in any of that.
LOL, Maybe you haven't noticed that we've got this situation in the country. Although Trump has cut thousands of regulations, Appointing a SCOTuS nominee adheres to the Constitution. A balanced budget would be nice all, let's just let our fellow Americans lose their houses, jobs and in some cases lives.

Republicans stopped being conservative after Newt Gingrich resigned as Speaker of the House in 1998. Bush43, McCain, Romney, and Trump are not exactly noted for being conservative either. Let's not forget that the last four budgets passed by Congress were with a veto-proof majority. That can't happen without a majority of Republicans. Guess who controlled the House that added $20 trillion to the National Debt? Guess who controlled the House that created the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA to violate our Fourth Amendment rights?

The Republican Party hasn't been any of those things you ascribe to them in more than two decades. You need to wake up, the GOP today are what the Democrats were during the 1960s - big spending socialists seeking to centralize and expand government's power.

Trump doesnt care about abortion but he knows his base does so thats all its about

I guarantee you Twumpy has paid for no less than six abortions in his time here on Earth.

Damn man, I am impressed.

Trump does seem to be in favor of allowing our fellow Americans to lose their houses, jobs, and, in more than 200,000 cases, their lives.

Agreed. There have been no real conservative Republicans in many years. Conservatives have gone the way of the ivory billed woodpecker, generally considered extinct even though there are occasional unconfirmed sightings. Trump most certainly is not a conservative by any reasonable definition of the term.
We can't blame the entire situation on Trump, as the demise of conservatism started before he ran, but he is the face of the current Republican Party.

This is just ****ing stupid.

I think Trump picks supreme court nominees based on their Roe vrs Wade beliefs. Abortion, that is.

None of Trump's justices seem to care about gun rights.

There was a case about gun rights that was brought to the Supreme Court, but they all refused to hear it, even the Trump justices voted not to hear it.
So that means they don't care about guns? What were the merits of the case?
