Myth at best, avoidance at worse. Just because one is left of Ronald Reagan does not means they subscribe to Saul Alinksy.
My personal set of beliefs and morals were firmly in place before I knew who Saul Alinsky even was.

Same here, moreover they are constantly evolving.
My point in the poll is that who even heard of the guy until right wing talk radio made an issue of him back in the 2008 campaign. I think some of the hacks on here don't seem to get that most people arrive at their personal ideological beliefs on their own and their personal ideology is more a reflection of their personality and personal values than it is what some radical did or wrote.

My values were in place probably firmly when I was 12 and I decided to sit down and decide who I was (with revisions as I learned more info, but my core is the same). I had not heard of this Saul person until Barack Obama was up for election.
To be quite honest, I don't know who this Saul person is nor do I care.
Interesting but Ill bet those who influenced you were in fact influenced by Alinsky. Theres nothing new under the son.
12? There's no way.
Mine are as well. I can say with 100% certainty that Saul Alinsky has had zero influence on any thought I've ever had. The right's obsession with him is hilarious to me.
My (real as tested by professionals, not some fly by night internet thing) IQ is in the high 140s to mid 150s (multiple tests over a few years), I am more than capable of making these types of decisions at an earlier stage in my life than most people are.
Alright Sheldon...IMO there's no way you were mature enough to decide for yourself at 12. 25 maybe.
You are free to hold your opinion, but its wrong.
A few of our posters seem to think that anyone to the left of Ronald Reagan is a acolyte of Saul Alinksy. Has the writings, work, or anything that Saul Alinsky did at any point in his life from his birth to his death influenced your beliefs in any way at all?
The other thread you started this morning flies in the face of what you say here. I'm I wrong?
It doesn't because I uphold my morality even when I am my low state. I just get flooded with awful memories.
