Does Patriotism embarrass Liberals?

When was the last time you saw a liberal salute the American flag. Was there ever a time a liberal stopped someone from burning the American flag. Liberals (with the backing of their ACLU cohorts) will go to the extreme to see that flag burners keep that right to show their anti-American preference.
Liberals have become the blame America first crowd. Liberals are first to suggest that the rest of the world hates America. Liberals are the first to decry foul play or excessive use of torture with our own prison guards, but nary a word from them with the beheading of our troops by the enemy.
Liberals make appearances with leaders of our enemies--like cindy Sheehan with Hugo Chavez, or Jane Fonda with the Viet Cong while atop a tank. The list is endless showing liberal un-Americanism.

I don't see neocons stopping it either. Just watching it on T.V. and then acting all offended when they did nothing to stop it.

Did you know that wearing the U.S. flag on clothing is as big a desecration of the flag as burning it? The only way you can wear a flag on clothing is if it is a patch/pin.

So if that is the case, could you explain to me why the use of a particular liberal's name in the title such as Hillary, Kerry or Pelosi is allowed to sit unscathed at the poll forum? There is a poll up there now with Pelosi's name in the title. Looks to me to be a flamebaiter, course I would never intentionally point out these inaccuracies to our near perfect moderation team.

Did you know that wearing the U.S. flag on clothing is as big a desecration of the flag as burning it? The only way you can wear a flag on clothing is if it is a patch/pin.

****Nothing is being overlooked. I happen to disagree with many of the laws that are on the books. I disagree with the outlawing of wearing the American flag. I disagree with the law that says its alright to abort/murder your babies. I disagree with the law that says its alright to burn the American flag.
Now dear Stace, perhaps we should place the two laws of wearing and burning the American flag into the context of my 'patriotism' theme.

Even you would agree that burning the flag is a sign of an unpatriotic act. And even you would agree that finding a conservative burning a flag would be an impossibility, so that would leave the more likely liberal as the flag burning culprit.

Regardless if wearing the flag is against the law, even you would have to agree that wearing it is a sign of extreme patriotism--similar in fashion to the draping of millions of mini flags on automobiles in support of our Middle East war efforts. Was there a law against attaching the flag to our autos?

That would depend on whether you had a big enough Flag to cover the bulk, and managed to position the folds in such a way that your weapon was visiblly protruding from the pale obesity that is you. I would prefer however, that we avoid this unpleasantry, and keep your actual indentity hidden from public view....the Dog is quite Ugly enough thank you. It would be cool though, if someone could make a good Photoshop of Cindy and Mike, burning a flag while some overwieght, mental cripple watched in horror.

What about the non patriot flag wearers and the patriotic flag burners? The ones exercising the rights they have and those who support smoke-and-mirrors freedom suppression? Or do those additional parties somehow not exist in your fantasy?

Your problem is that you seem to want to see the issue of patriotism, or anything framed as patriotism/non-patriotism as sole black and white, and achieve your own viewpoint through the double-standard of doing what you oppose to the parties you disagree with in regards to putting words in other people's mouths, and namecalling.

That is the only reason this thread ended up here, and it is my opinion that to suggest otherwise takes a very bad act of judgement.
