The fallacy in thinking, when it comes to the idea of having religious beliefs or not , is based on the presumption that God needs humanity. That God cannot do without believers. .. Those of this generation ,that deny or reject God, may in fact be those whom God is rejecting rather than the other way round.

God does not need mankind ;but it's mankind that needs God!.. When you see a young person living like a heathen this may be the only heaven he or she will experience. Let them have their fun!

and if they are doing things that can scar their future forever?

If gods want to "exist", they need mankind. Heck, even the Christian god couldn't completely destroy mankind.

As (g)God(s) are a delusion, the idea certainly needs mankind in order to exist.

If an omnipotent being doesn't need anything, then why create it?

God created mankind for the purpose of possibly seeing himself in his creation. Think of it as humanity becoming a mirror of sorts.

"God created man in his image"

If god is omniscient, why is there something god didn't already know?

As this is a purely theological question, doesn't it belong in a different forum?

God will exist, with or without mankind.

That's not the same as saying, if you want someone to acknowledge your existence, then you need someone to do so.

If you lose your birth certificate, and there's no one, or nothing, that can vouch for you.....are you saying you don't actually exist?

If science says it cannot prove the non-existence of God, where is your proof that God is merely a delusion?

Like what?

Anbd how do you know He didn't know? How do you know His purpose? What He plans, the way He think?

So what are you saying? We should evangelize to them? Of course we would.....but if they reject the Word, what more can we do?

Of course, if one is doing crime or harming himself, it is a moral responsibility to call the authorities.

Gods require worshipers, without them they are no gods. Even your god was unable to destroy all of man since man's creation, yes? Not only that, but it's demonstrated that humanity united has the power to defeat gods. That's the whole point of the Tower of Babble and why, while your god couldn't destroy mankind completely, he could pit us against ourselves so we waste our talent and don't realize our true capabilities. It's the best it could do to secure its seat as "god". He fears his own creations because he cannot destroy us and he knows that if we are to overcome our differences, the whole of heaven and earth are open to mankind.

Evangelize? no....apprehend, contain, arrest, convict, incarcerate, etc.
You know the drill.

A father can reject his son, but they will always be father and son, so your assertion there is impossible.

You use the the buzz word "believers"', and in this country you are referring to a small politically active group of Christian evangelicals that only represent themselves. God, as a concept designs based upon need for life in my opinion, but not through need of an agenda. The universe is too diverse and complicated for agenda.

Why, do you necessarily always have to need something to have it?

It's a question of motivation. Ignorant, weak, mortal beings such as ourselves need things. There's no such compulsion with a being that's beyond those shortcomings.

Think of the annual birthday concern, "what do you buy the guy with everything?" and extrapolate it to the scale of an omnipotent/omniscient being who by design has no hunger, no curiosity, no fear -- all the basic driving forces of humanity. There's no drive for an omniscient/omnipotent being: no riddles to solve, no planning to be done, no chores to do. To our human minds, it'd seem the most tedious existence conceivable.

No, he does not need me. He have me live and free will. His job was done at that point. Everything else is on me.

You were destined to say that. You had no choice but believe that. It's beyond your control.

I have all kinds of choices.

Yes, you have choices that are presented to you, but you only have one decision you can make! It's predestined!
