I forget why I came to this same conclusion, but it's been a while now. I really think he has no interest in running again. To me that makes him more frightening than ever. I don't think he considers what he is doing, as screwing things up. I think his agenda is to collapse our "capitalistic" society and replace it with socialism which will gradually lead us to communism.
There's a chance he may swing to the center after Nov. to maybe get re-elected but I think it's more likely he will keep doubling down on the things he's doing now.

Actually one of the problems we have in this country is politicians that are only concerned with being reelected vs. doing the right thing. It would be refreshing to see a politician that wants to get things right vs. just get reelected.

I watch just as much CNN, MSNBC, as I do Fox, if not more.
Where I find the truth and then some, is from Fox and 2 C-Span channels I get. Those and talk radio.
If you refuse to watch Fox, or C-Span, or listen to talk radio, it's very likely there will be things you will never know. The MSM tends to report only what they want us to hear and in the context they want us to hear it in.

WWII was a whole different enchilada and I don't believe we had to borrow from other countries to fund WWII. Don't forget there's inflation and capital depletion but considering you think wars are a gift to a country's economy I doubt you'd understand or listen.

The simple fact that the fiscal 'war costs' are ALWAYS either OVER or UNDER estimated...depending on who is calculating them and what their poltical agenda is.

Every mission flown by our aircraft...would be flown in peacetime for training. Every bomb dropped would be dropped in peacetime. Its what the military does. When we arent fighting we are training. To the same levels? No...of course not. BUT...since combat ops were suspended soldiers fire their weapons LESS than they would during peacetime training operations.

Those dollars paid to American contractors go into bank accounts that momma or daddy are using at home to buy goods and services...to provide for the kids...to buy cars and houses. Those soldiers that are deployed...momma is still home...paying the bills and also the hazardous duty, separation pay, and other extra dollars.

You brought up the cost of war...just be honest enough to figure the whole picture and not the part that is convenient for you.

And for the record...you may not have seen it before, but the reason there is a 'Libertarian' by my name on the polling and voting records is because I was disgusted by the lack of fiscal responsibility demonstrated by the republicans.

Both sides have spent us into that 14 trillion dollar hole. Not just Obama. Not just Bush. There is no way people CANT see that but there are a whole lotta people that WONT see that.
