❌ He tried to OVERTURN a presidential election;
❌ He led an INSURRECTION against the U.S. Government;
❌ And he hid CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS in his Florida mansion!!!

Now Liz Cheney and the January 6th Committee have enough evidence to refer Donald Trump for criminal charges – he could land behind bars.

Interesting assumption associated with this petition. Which could be grand if true ........ bring it on.

Will the AG follow through? Garland is the person who could do it.

Full extent?

As there are pebbles on the beach and stars in the sky , it is not ours to wonder

Maybe other charges are forth coming .........

Trump organized a violent coup. It is shameful Garland is letting it go by.

There's only one problem: Trump did none of those things.

And the dog and pony show? They have no evidence. All they have is hearsay testimony, spin, speculation, innuendo, hyperbole and, of course, their own lies. That won't get a conviction, let alone induce the DOJ to bring charges.

Exactly, more than I can keep track of, he's in legal trouble all over the map.

Sometimes powerful and highly popular criminals can be hard to catch and put away, regardless of how much evidence there is against them. But eventually, they usually find their way to justice one way or the other: Bonnie and Clyde, John Gotti, OJ Simpson, etc... I don't see how Trump is any different. Don't let the repeated frustrated attempts of prosecutors fool you. The law may be slow, but it's not stupid.

Here is another highly popular and beloved criminal who gave the slip to prosecutors for many years. Every time, he would emerge victorious and with a smirk from court, he would be greeted by cheering crowds- until he didn't. He was the other "Teflon Don".

DOJ has enough all on it's own they don't need a criminal referral. It will just make it look over!ty political...dumb move if they do

Everything is political.

1/6 committee is irrelevant to referral. DoJ is independent and charges on its own. The time referrals are relevant is the contempt of Congress charges for ignoring subpoenas.

Bets on how long until he is convicted? 6 months?

True, the interesting phrase was during the summer when DOJ wanted more of the evidence the committee had collected, and they sent it.

Yes, clearly the DOJ is using information from the House Committee. As Adam Schiff has said, the DOJ is way behind.

BLAH, BLAH--------WE'VE HEARD THIS SINCE 2015 OVER 100 OTHER THINGS HE DID............................NEVER MATTERS.....

Throwing Trump in jail would be bad for him but great for the Republican Party. A martyr always rallies people. Donald Trump Jr will probably be our next president if it happens. A lot of Republicans liked Trump's policies but didn't like him. Throw him in jail and they will love him real fast. Martyrdom is one of the most powerful weapons you can process. It's been like that since they threw Ignatius to the lions and caused Christianity to spread like wildfire.

Trump is a low life thug.

It does matter but not in the way Democrats want. It's the old "That which does not kill us makes us stronger" idea. The more they hit him the stronger he seems to get. I suppose the next thing we'll go through is an investigation to see if he had anything to do with Queen Elizabeth's death. Democrats aren't smart enough to know that isn't a good idea. Either that or they are just terrible at political strategy since their deep hatred is blinding them.

Yes, the failure of AG Garland to prosecute Trump for the violent coup emboldens him.
