He was running away and they shot at him over 95 times and hit him over 60 times and it is no surprise he was dead at the scene. The police say he shot at them while in the car, but that is being questioned. I saw a picture of his weapon in the car and it was on the front seat where he left it when he decided to run. I do not know if he left it that way or the police did it, but the clip was out of the gun on the seat next to the gun. I read one article that said at least one of the policemen reloaded and kept on shooting. I would think this could be called overkill, how about you?

First did he flee from the cops?
Second did he shot at them?

Amadou Diallo was a law abiding immigrant who walked out of his apartment building one morning and was shot 19 times by four cops who were staking out the building for a rape suspect they said looked like him. They fired 41 shots total at an unarmed man leaving for work.

My question is: How do you shoot a man 19 times? Wouldn't he have been on the ground after the 6 or 8 or 10? What did they do? Walk up, stand over him and shoot down?
