You go from your usual BS..................... straight to paranoia. :2wave:

It's just taking what he says at face value.

President fir Life is a good idea

I won't accept the results of the election

My supporters will use violence to keep me in power

I will seek a third term

"I don't kid"

4 years ago, you all were telling us he says whst he means. So if he says what he means, why don't you believe he meant what he said?

The assumption is one of two scenarios:

1)Trump openly steals the election, by way of shutting down the mail (since it's assumed that Democrats will make up the majority of mail-in ballots) or through other means of targeting populations known to vote Democrat like suing states that send out ballots to voters, or other means he has yet to try.

2)He ignores the outcome of the election in spite of a loss.

For context, the postmaster general has said he has no intention of returning the mail sorters he's dismantled, and additional sorters are being observed to be removed as well.

This is in addition to trump saying, 'The only way we're going to lose this election is if the election is rigged."

Also, this exchange between a reporter and the WH spokesperson:

Reporter: "Is the President saying if he doesn't win this election that he will not accept the results unless he wins?"

Kayleigh McEnany: "The President has always said he'll see what happens and make a determination in the aftermath."

https://twitter.com/svdate/status/1296144645437751296

If you don't consider the first scenario to be cheating, then it's assumed you don't believe in free and fair elections, or have given no thought to what a "free and fair election" is. At best, you simply don't believe in democratic principles.

If you voted "no," consider the question that Bill Maher has for every Democrat who comes on his show and which he has yet to receive a coherent answer to: "What are you going to do if Trump refuses to leave office? He's got the army and the tough guys on his side. What is the plan?"

The better question is, if Trump wins, will the left spend another four years trying to overturn the legitimately elected president?

This is a false dichotomy. I think Trump will do everything within his power to lie, cheat, and steal his way to an election win. If he loses anyway, he'll leave one way or another. Most likely voluntarily, because I simply don't think Trump has the backbone to be a dictator. And I certainly don't think he'd have the support of most of Congress or the military.

But if that unlikely scenario came to pass, I'd probably leave the country.

What is the mechanism for showing him the door? There are no more Mattises.
When the states of WI, PA, and MI secretary's certify their results, and if Trump has lost those states (along with any other states he loses that go beyond a margin for contesting), it won't matter. The EC will vote him out straight up, with or without his concession, and with or without the approval his supporters.

Once the clock strikes noon on January 24 2021, he will no longer be the legal President of the US. It's over. Biden will be the legal president and he will have the authority to revoke the security clearances of Barr, Munchin, Meadows, Kushner, and even Trump himself, and have them escorted from government property by the the SS and US Marshals.

I anticipate Biden will have to at least threaten to do this.

I'm saying that anybody he considers to be disloyal...in other words anyone who would consider their allegiance to the Constitution and not to him...are long gone.
They are not loyal to him, they are loyal to a paycheck. That paycheck comes from the guy who is the legal president, which wouldn't be Trump anymore.

:snickers:

Yeah.

No.

Once Biden takes the Oath of Office, he is President, and Trump becomes an unauthorized guest in the White House. He can kvetch on Twitter all he likes, but his staff ignores him now, much less after a loss.

Very interesting to see all the temper tantrums at your poll.

At least some of them admitted through their votes that they support open sabotage of our republic.

As someone astutely mentioned, you have nothing but a bunch of strawmen, Democratic talking points, fallacies, misconceptions, untruths, and hearsay all lined up to discredit Trump.
But in threads like this one, you have a solid following given the Trump haters will believe anything you have to say about him.
It is a national sport that you are good at perpetuating.

Yeah....this is BS poll

But it is fascinating how many people Cardinal can round up to sing to his tune.
I should get back to playing my music, reading a good book, or playing my dog so I can say I am doing something enjoyable and productive. But.......................it is amazing that for the past four years I have witnessed the rantings and whines from otherwise sensible people who have gone bonkers over a reality show host who happened to defeat the second most unlikable candidate in 2016. Apparently they have never encountered such an egotistical (but smart) boob who has little regard for the people who work for him. In companies with high-powered executives, that type of person is common.
And the common people love him!! Why? Because he continues to stick it to the Establishment.

Authors will be writing books about Trump for decades because of Hillary's lousy campaign.
And she was the odds on favorite to win!! Just like Biden is.

It's just taking what he says at face value.

Anyone who believes Trump means what he says is naive, gullible, and lacking in common sense.

The better question is, if Trump wins, will the left spend another four years trying to overturn the legitimately elected president?

With a Democratic House, there will be ongoing attempts to impeach Trump and Pelosi will end up looking 10 years older - if that is possible.

I need a bit clarification, Cardinal: When you ask if I would support Donald Trump forcibly remaining in office after "cheating," do you mean if he won through cheating? Or if he lost in spite of cheating?

Good question.
Someone like Cardinal would never never ever accept that Trump won again without cheating.
Because someone like Cardinal thinks he won the first time by colluding with the "Russians".
And if he loses, who would really care if there was any indication that he cheated - whatever that means?

As usual, your posts are pathetic garbage devoid of any facts.

WHat part is a lie? do you care that Obama removed 12,000 mailboxes in five years?

USPS flashback: Obama administration removed thousands of mailboxes
2016 report: 'Nationally the number of collection boxes declined by more than 12,000 in the past five years'
“Nationally the number of collection boxes declined by more than 12,000 in the past five years,” an August 2016 report said. “Some customers have complained the Postal Service has gone too far and removed most collection boxes, except those at the Post Office. In addition, they have questioned whether any cost savings result from collection box removals.”

The same report revealed that in a 17-month period during Obama’s second term, hundreds of mailboxes were removed without following the appropriate process, as “322 out-of-service boxes were permanently removed from the street without Eastern Area approval or public notification to customers.”

Yes, but Obama didn't do it when Mail in voting was in the tabke due to a pandemic. And didn't admit that he was doing it to keep people from voting.

Yes, and he is stupid for stating that.
What more do you want from the argument?
You want someone to defend that stupid statement of his? It is indefensible, wrong, and has no impact on what may happen in 70 days.

Trump should stay in office despite the democrats lies and cheating through mail in voter fraud.

This is just another thread trying to demonise Donald for something he has not done, tell enough stories and you might be believed by the gullable.

The truely sad thing is 5 Morons here voted yes.
