Barbara received some negative publicity for making a fairly offensive comment after Hurricane Katrina, as well.
Perhaps she's going senile; I don't recall her making such faux pas when her husband occupied the White House. It seems to me she generally had the wisdom to keep her mouth shut, back then.

I agree and concur with Barbara Bush.
The war coverage is saturated with a death count, which isn't even high, and lacking any honest effort to report the positive things that happen.

Your right Jerry......Every American life is precious and I grieve for them but when you compare the death figures in Iraq verses Nam there is no comparison....We have lost 3,200 men in Iraq in 4 years and we use to lose that many in a month in Nam.....


The Left just love to blow the death figures way out of proportion becasue of their hatred for the president.........

In a way I hope that a Democrat is elected president, that way we will start to see media coverage all the good things our troops are doing even though nothing will change in the Middle East.

Already the war dead are flown into the US under the cover of darkness, and photographs are forbidden. If the not even high body count were not reported, Americans would have no clue about the sacrifices that soldiers and their families are making. The death count is far too high for an unnecessary war.
