Let's be perfectly clear, attacking the Capitol while Congress is in Joint Session for the democratic process of affirming the election is about as bad as it could get, and a new low for the U.S.A.

Their only argument was that we should scrap the electoral college, and go with the national popular vote. Nobody argued for a violent overthrow of the government. They argued that we should change the rules for the next election.

It is rather odd to hear you guys complain about the Democratic socialism within the Democrat Party. I had to break to you, but they always play second-fiddle to the liberal and moderate wing of the party. Just look at their leadership positions and who Democratic voters picked as their nominee. Sanders lost both times he ran for President as a Democrat.

The Democrat-Socialists DID offer objections during the Electoral College Certification in 2017 and "Resist" placards and demonstrations were springing up everywhere in the hands of the inconsolable partisans.

The Media's propaganda Campaign to smear and undermine produced coverage of a pretty successful Administration that was more than 90% negative.

The frustrated and violent lunatic fringe from BOTH ends of our political spectrum has been committing violent acts for the last several months.

When I force myself to watch NBC Nightly news until I throw up in my mouth a little, they make it sound like the best traits of all previous enlightened ones are combined in Biden.

Luckily for the US, he managed to personally create a vaccine and will personally vaccinate all Americans on the first day of his administration. Trump was holding him back. Biden said Trump's vaccine would not work.

He'll also undo everything Trump did so the horrible income equality will be remedied, all people will live in peace, injustice will be eradicated, all races will love each other and nobody will suffer in a world of plenty and love.

Of course, this will occur after the purge of any who object who will then enjoy the gracious accommodations they find in the re-educations camps.

You need at least ONE member of the House and Senate for electoral college votes to get disputed. We did not see that in 2017. The meeting lasted less than 30 minutes. For 2021 electoral college meeting took over 9 hours to complete, and that's doesn't include the 4 hours members of Congress were kept in hiding. About 6 states were up for dispute. We saw more than 10 members of the House and Senate object to Biden's election, not 1 or 2 House members. There's a gigantic difference here. Gigantic difference.

People have the right to protest. They do not have the right to riot.

The right engaged in a smear campaign against Biden's election. Clinton's campaign didn't file over 50 lawsuits or encourage violence.

Obama didn't hesitant in allowing Trump's team to transition into the White House. In fact, Obama and Trump had a meeting together before Trump took office. Did we see this with Trump and Biden? Nope. Did Obama and Clinton go to Trump's inauguration? Yep.

There's no equivalence with 2017 and 2021. It's night and day.

I am happy to debate anybody, anywhere, when it comes to any issue, but the coma jargon presented above borders on "report" territory. Please keep it civil.

Why does a few hours of insurrection concern you so much more than several months of insurrection?

With the greatest respect, you seem to suffer the same problems with gauging a crimes severity as did the Racists in the Deep South during the marches in pursuit of Civil Rights.

I'm from Minnesota and was distressed by the Billion + dollar damages to their neighborhoods and the government demand that the owners pay for the demolition of the hulks of the buildings with expenses far in excess of insurance coverages.

Our lawmakers got a scare, but after the excitement, went back to work. The Minneapolis business owners got a scare, but after the excitement, were left with no place of business, no job, no source of income and for some- no home.

In passing, that's a pretty impressive wall built around the Capital, isn't it? If we can believe the Democrat-Socialists, then "walls don't work". Has something changed regarding the intrinsic qualities of walls?

All ballots were legal, as has been proven, you just can't accept it. Grafters lying in the radical right wing media seem to be more important to you.
Comparing the BLM etc. protests to Trump's insurrection on the Capitol, that threatened the lives of the elected politicians while Congress was in session, was way worse, and will be the only thing remembered through history exactly because it was so bad. This will trump Benedict Arnold mainly because it came from the president and was all based on provable lies, which you still propagate.

I applaud your effort, but you can't put a bow on this one. I do condemn anything else that has happened that was outside of peaceful protest from both sides, but what happened at the Capitol rose to traitorous insurrection against the United States and was done to stop the democratic process of affirming the election, one of the most important things we do as a democracy, and the ploy was based on nothing more than lies from the radicalized right.

You seem to be conflating a couple ideas.

There were objections to the electors in the 2017 meeting. You got that right. No Senators offered a second so the objections did not proceed to the next step in the defined process.

I suppose that was a warning of what was to come out of the House under the despicably corrupt and dishonest Adam Schiff and all the rest.

Clinton's Campaign didn't file law suits. They created the Russia-Russia-Russia Scam. Brennan, Clapper and Comey were the unsavory co-conspirators in this dark plan seemingly originating in the Oval Office.

Trump and his supporters used the legal system. Hillary and her Party used a series of abuses of power involving the agencies of government. Nothing new there. they've been doing it for years.

The coma remark was only in reference to your seeming lack of awareness of the ongoing attacks on Trump by the Democrat-Socialists based on nothing but lies and political deception supported by the cooperating media.

You seemed unaware that ALL of the attacks and contrived impeachment shams and lies and made up crap flowing from the Democrat-Socialists and their partners in the media were exactly that.

Sorry, but you are wrong. "Russia" happened. It was real, and there is a ton of evidence to support it. If the R partisan block whitewashing a legitimate impeachment had been tried in a real court of law, the judge would have slapped them with contempt and the Bar kicked them out. Fair trial--Trump would have been found guilty in a heartbeat.

Anyway, Trump is over. He scammed hundreds of millions of dollars out of the MAGA and never drained swamp. So much winning, amirite?

- Trump violating campaign finance laws. It's not LEGAL to receive campaign advice from a foreign government.
- Trump pressuring his staff to lie to Mueller.
- Trump pressuring his staff to have Mueller fired.
- Trump lying about not knowing about the Trump Tower meeting. He in fact, set it up and told his son to lie.

The point of the Mueller investigation was look at how Russia influenced the 2016 presidential election and to examine the potential connection between Trump's Team and Russia. If there's no nothing there, then why the lying and deceptions?

Nobody questioned Trump's legitimacy of winning the electoral college. You're attempting to make non-existent connections.
