A TRUE story from the September, 2019, print edition of Reader's Digest.

1. Louis G. is 82 years old.

2. He lives in Florida.

3. When he goes out, he likes to look sharp.

4. At the deli, a young woman asked of Mr. G. that question in the title of the thread.

5. Mr. G. was flattered. Was it because of his new golf shirt and Bermudas? he thought. So he replied, "Of course not" and gave a wide smile.

6. She then took a picture of his four-wheel walker and said, "I've been looking for something like this for my grandfather. Thanks very much."

If it had been a young man and a female senior citizen would it still have been considered a "cute story"?
