Your side is ready to add trillions more.nobody can vote yes
why?
Democrats have run it up and up over and over with their control of House and/or Senate
Republicans have run it up and up over and over with their control of House and/or Senate
unless you voted independent? then you voted for $37 trillion in debt - its what our brilliant Fed Govt has done over and over with no accountability
Mike Lee is a clown whose only job is felate Trump.I've always cared about the debt but realized long ago that no politician cares about it. They very much proved my point with Trump's BUB.

Lemme guess, you'll gladly vote them back in 2026.
Don't put the cart before the horse. How do you feel about one of the worst bills in U.S. history in terms of blowing up the budget, drastically increasing the deficit, and adding to the debt?
In my house, I don't take a pay cut to help pay the bills.Don't put the cart before the horse.
Before you can fill the hole (reduce the debt) you have to stop digging (out of control spending).
yep that's what they're doing
Obama added trillions each year, Trump 1.0 did, Biden did and this 4 years of Trump 2.0 appears to be doing the same
warning - Democrats and Republican's will say in 2028 national debt is a huge concern ... I think the last 2 decades should be remembered and they're all liars about it

Massive deficits were needed to fix one time anomalies such as the pandemic, the 2008 banking crisis, 9/11, dot-com bust, Y2K, global warming, student loan crisis, health care crisis, etc . The root problem is there's one disaster after another. It's really a question of perception and our belief that money can solve everything. Even when we do have a solution we have poor money management and poor execution making fixes cost twice as much as they should.

You forgot about Clinton.
Regardless, maybe if Republicans would stop crashing the economy, requiring massive government intervention, we could get back to the Clinton years.
A person doesn't care about something unless it's the only issue they vote for? What an idiotically simplistic attempt to *get* people.
For others, since he's not going to be posting anything worth reading:
Republicans explode the deficit every time with tax cuts for the upper crust, going back to Reagan, and for the bigot base they hand out culture wars on vulnerable groups.
Democrats at least try to improve the situation for average Americans, even if they don't undo GOP tax cuts. They don't pass tax cuts then squawk about how we need to throw out the safety net to pay for it.
Meanwhile, I doubt that "independents" would ever do what needs to be done, which is vote to undo GOP tax cuts aka raise taxes, not that they have any chance of getting elected in most districts/states (and most certainly not federally). Independents also typically do not support the things I support.
And since when does someone not care about something at all unless it's their only single issue?
And even if it were true, why the hell would I vote for people who won't address that issue properly and who support all sorts of crap I'm against?
And even if that weren't a completely moronic sentiment, how could it affect my vote when nobody is doing the thing they need to do to address that something? To escape some internet rando's dumbassed gotcha game?

In my house, if I'm spending more than I earn...you know, building a debt...I tend to reduce spending first (stop digging)In my house, I don't take a pay cut to help pay the bills.
You?

President Andrew Jackson dissolved the Second National Bank to pay off the National Debt.
I would imagine a POTUS meeting a mysterious fate if he/she attempted to do the same with the FED.
Its never getting paid off and no one seems care other than for political fodder…
It would be great if the BUB did that.In my house, if I'm spending more than I earn...you know, building a debt...I tend to reduce spending first (stop digging)
