Well, I see a couple of things wrong with your post. There are trump supporters I'm friends with here on DP as well as in real life. Even though trump only recognizes 40% of his constituency, we as Americans can't cut 40% of other Americans out of our lives. Hopefully Biden will win and we'll have responsible leadership back in the white house, reuniting the country instead of dividing it.

The other thing I see wrong is Facebook. Facebook is for sharing family pics and promoting group events. I ignore all political messages and have even unfriended people I agree with for being politically militant on FB.

Edit: I should clarify/correct, my friends are trump voters, not supporters. They think he's an ass and should stay off of twitter, but they'll vote for him.

ANTIFA (as and extension of the democrats) wage violent war on America, but they haven't taken over yet, and won't unless the democrats can cheat the hell out of this election.

democrats are already waging violent civil war against America (yeah, it does make them traitors) but intend to pull out all stops in November. I would not be surprised if the democrats detonate a dirty bomb or something of the sort. ANTIFA is no different than ISIS, vicious terrorists on the leash of the democrats.

What stops the Stalinist party is the opposition.

We have the Harris/Xi (biden) ticket who embrace the insane Marxist "New Green Deal." who have vowed to end the 1st, 2nd, and 4th amendments. Who seek to pervert the SCOTUS through court packing. Who openly support racist quotas to punish the designated scapegoat, the Juden (whites).

A Senate held by Americans and a president with veto powers has stopped the Maoist democrats thus far, but the party of Xi makes no secret of their agenda, should Harris assume the presidency backed by a Bolshevik controlled congress.

I work with them, play golf with them, do business with them. Sometimes I just cannot avoid them so I say nothing or at least I have said nothing until now. I am reminded of how so many good people watched other pending horrors develop and said nothing until it was too late. If I can choose, I avoid all Trump supporters. I want nothing to do with them at all. But life means I have to deal with them, that does not compel me to respect them or like them. If 40% of America is this warped, it makes me wonder what America really is, it is certainly not the shining light on the hill or the moral leader of the world. Personally, I hope society punishes all Trump voters socially, politically and every other way imaginable until being a Trump supporter is about as accepted as being a Nazi.

Thank you but I think all I said was what is on the minds of countless millions of Americans and the majority of people across the world. They once believed in the idea of America. Now that ideal is gone, it has been destroyed by one single man who unfortunately represents a powerful segment of our population. As a 64 year old, I had hoped we were better, I certainly thought so until that fateful night. But I was wrong, we are not the nation I once believed in, there simply are too many people who truly do not grasp how lucky they have been to be an American. They think they know but they have no clue what its like to live in a failed state or under a dictator. I have only one hope, that is our children. They are much too caring and giving to continue supporting Trumps America when they take over after our disgraceful legacy is left to them.

Politics is important, it's just not as important as having a general respect and appreciation for your fellow man. What I'm seeing in this country today is that a whole lot of people on the left have essentially written off their fellow Americans merely because of a disagreement over political visions. That's the essence of totalitarianism and it's a dangerous road to travel.
