Do we really know the "true challenges to creating Peace"? it is a big picture with many intertwined pieces.
Those are not callous words, and they were not crafted just to sound good. They are Principled, to what the Declaration of Independence envisaged for and of America.
Too many have read those world with nothing but a thought that its a list of "feel good phrases", they don't give themselves time to invest in understanding the true meaning and the great depth in each aspect of these statements.
We have a society that is "tarnished", by the madness from the point and time this documents and its values were "hijacked by "white men" to claim it was only for themselves. They did not recognize anyone as "We The People" except white men!!!! Its was the "greatest perversion and vile encroachment of desecrating acts upon our and against our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution itself, and the most horrendous vile against "The People", of this American Nation, especially any who was not " a economically well off or wealthy white man". poor white man had no voice, he voted as he was told!! by racist motivations.
We saw that perversion, lead to the slaughter of the Native Indians, to the long history of atrocities of Slavery, to the vile acts against the native born Spanish and Mexican people who inhabited portions of this nations western expanse. We've seen the indignities of every sort cast upon against woman, as if to see her as nothing more than a pleasure object, heir producer and domestic servant as if she was a possession, used like a shiny ornament, to be worn by vain bigot as if she was being like the wearing of a shiny broach, to bring attention to feed the vanity of such men.
These same white men ideologies who hijacked the Constitution, and made conscience disregard of the Declarations of Independence, proclaimed themselves the Plutocrats over the nation, and proceeded to dominate the constitution systems of governmental establishment, and pervert the laws and craft policies that were assured to promote and prolong Slavery and give themselves sanctions to decimate the Native Indians, while engaging in denigration of the Spanish and Mexican heritage people, while denying women the right to even the basics of Person-hood.
These same mad plutocratic agenda and the ideals built upon and around it, contorted religion, and set up systems to bastardize the monetary system, with contrived instruments designed to fleece and subjugate the poor... including the white poor, both poor white men, and poor white women, with the same acts of subjugating conditions asimilar and with as much likeness as it could, in how it treated blacks, women and other non wealthy white man.
Over Centuries and Decades, the abuse engaged that generated wealth, which became and over time was then used to go about the world trying to invoke the same agenda upon and against other people, in other nations, and plunder and seize and craft policy to manipulate, dominate and control their resources, while extracting them to promote the incessant greed to feed the avarice that consumes the mentality and soul.... by Imperialist agenda ideology.

Upon and After Gaining its Independence, No nations have forged an Invasion upon American Soil ... because the people supported preparing for our Common Defense. It did not mean, we should go to other lands and invade and insult their aims to protect their own Common Defense.
The principles of "Trade Agreements" and "Diplomatic Processes" and the building of Allied Relations based on Common Values was our premise of respect and means of honoring our Constitution premise and sustaining our independence. Trade Agreements and Diplomatic Processes was designed to build "Cooperative Agreements" with Foreign Nations, on and of and for a "Mutual Benefit" system of exchanges. Nations were of the right to develop Treaties and Honor them... not the same madness and abuse that Treaties with the Native American Indians, was violated, disregarded and manipulative and maliciously violated. Thus, over generation we took that same agenda of abuse of Treaties game and enacted it upon other lands of other nations.
Natural Resources of any nations has a responsibility to benefit the people of such nation, and of each nation... as its principle resources owned and of right to benefit the people of the nation. NOT to be usurped and seized and controlled by the wealthy, who in turn fleece the people of the nation of their rightful benefits.
How did we get to the level of madness that has become the engulfing vile that has left so many, without work, without care and without benefits of the investments they as "we the people" invest in our systems established within our governance to become to deny to the people the rightful benefits of their collective contribution and collective support and collective self investments with their lives ? How did we allow the bastardization of religion, and the bastardization of the premise and principle of promoting the common good, and the denial of promotion of our (we the People's) welfare ? How did we allow "racial ignorance to promote itself, in a nation built of native inhabitants and immigrants...to be and become so destructive to the very principles of the Declaration of Independence?
It is our work... to learn and make the corrections and get back to what our Declaration of Independence established, and Our Constitution set forth to Govern the elements and principles established in our Preamble !!!! We must build the peace from within!!!! and honor what is the principles that promote that peace.
We have developed over the Centuries many things... that help us learn if we use it to learn for the sake of peace, and peace making. For it is peace making that helps to secure the blessing for our selves our posterity and that same for and of and among the nations of the world. If we are to be again, a leader... we must come to understand what is the true principles of "Leadership" that is designed to honor our Own Declaration of Independence and The Constitution that was of and by design to Facilitate our Declarations of being an Independent Nation.
That work, begins within the lands, systems, societies and civil and civic processes as the core elements that make the existence of America, as an Independent Nation. THEN, We can pursue and proclaim and support the principles of us being a Leader in the world, by the function and example, of honoring the principles that established this nation, and proclaims its Declaration as being of the Honor it was designed to be and promote.
To be an "American" is to learn, respect and live by the principles and character values of what constituted the premises and principles that established this nation. We must learn!!! what is Truth... then we can honor the phrase we hold and claim to hold so dear... "In God We Trust".... as we often say, "God Bless America"!!!
We must learn to mean it, and accord ourselves with "Faith" to stand behind our claim of "In God We Trust" !!!!
