DNC was a bust

You do not understand populism, or the entire point of the Trump movement.

We don’t give a care about traditional party politics. This is the entire point lol.

We want a leader who isn’t at the mercy of their political party’s bureaucracy.

Instead every party leader should be at his mercy?

That's a cult.

Instead you got the swamp that is only beholden to one man. Right populism is just submission to authority.

After the RNC convention, the season officially begins. So it’s not time to take polls seriously yet. Biden got his bump, and Trump will get his. Then the two campaigns will begin selling their version of America.

Elections are about two things:
Who gets to control your tax money.
Who gets to send your kids to which war.
The rest is all touchy feely pie in the sky.

IMO if Trump wins (unless he gets the House), it’s four more years of fighting all things Trump.

If Biden wins, it’s recession and businesses holding off until the regulatory environment becomes clear. Unemployment is a wild card. Even the open border crowd / Amnesty crowd can’t be so tone deaf with Covid related unemployment so high as to follow through on that promise. It’s all about the economy and China. The rest is all white noise.

I would be surprised if Trump gets a bump from the convention.

He'll need several "bumps" to get through the convention; cocaine, meth and adderall do wear off in time you know!

DNC roll on on left RNC roll call on right.

You theft wingers have just one thing on your mind... keeping your hands in other people's pockets.

Right wing populism is just nationalism.

I'm not quite sure what point was being made there, but the purpose of a convention is to revive or energize a candidate's base. Voters don't often watch a convention and change their mind.

Trump Approval Surges During DNC - Geopolitics News

Obama also spoke last night and blasted Trump for not taking the presidency seriously – but Obama’s approval was two percentage points lower than Trump’s was at this exact same point in their respective presidencies.

For the most part there’s been a consensus that this cycle’s DNC has been a complete snoozefest. The speeches ain’t great, and the ads spliced in-between feel eerily similar to drug commercials (except the Dems don’t mention the side effects of their policies).

Biden is a snoozefest.
This is before the debates even start.

As of this morning, nationally, Biden 52, Trump 42. Trump has never hit 50 in his almost 4 years in office.

What a worthless source with zero real world analytical skills
The OP fails fantastically yet again.
Hilarious.

The whole scene is starting to get very concerning. It's getting serious. I think Conway and her husband are bailing their gigs because they know what's coming and it ain't going to be pretty

I think we don’t know anything about any of them other than KellyAnne is clearly nuts and their daughter is screaming out for help.

They both need to shut up and help their daughter.

Five Thirty Eight averages recent polls, and adjusts them on the basis of past accuracy. According to Five Thirty Eight 54.6% of Americans disapprove of Trump. 41.5% approve of Trump.

How Popular Is Donald Trump? | FiveThirtyEight

According to the latest Real Clear Politics average of nine most recent polls, Biden is ahead by 7.6%.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2020 - General Election: Trump vs. Biden

We will get a better idea of who is really ahead after at least a week following the Republican convention. The George Floyd riots and the rise in black crime are certainly Trump's best issues. Nevertheless, these are happening with a Republican president and a Republican Senate. The voters may decide that we need a different approach. Trump can no longer brag about the economy. The rise in employment under Trump was nothing more than a continuation of economic growth that began under President Obama and the sugar high of irresponsible tax cuts for the rich and the corporations. COVID-19 is definitely Joe Biden's issue.

There you have it. Nationalism is a good thing per Tahuyaman.

Gonna borrow this quote from Rex...

Again there's nothi wrong with nationalism. Of course, one must first understand what that concept Actuall is.

Can someone explain why nationalism is not a positive concept?
