Theres a mistake on the second choice...
It should be "they" not "I".

Personally it doesn't bother me because for one I'm liberal and I think there music is quite good.

Nothing to do with politics. I just hate country/bluegrass music. So I voted accordingly.

You didn't give me a choice I could pick. I did NOT like them before, but once I heard their opinion, I loved them. ;)

Fixed.

I think they are a burden on the good city of Lubbock Texas and a waste of space. I *used* to like their music - this choice was unavailable.

I liked their music before the big flap and I suppose I still do. I suppose you can't unlike someone's music. But after all the ado, I chose to toss their CD's and stop buying their new stuff. Just like they have the right to say the things they do, I have the right to stop listening.

I picked the first one just for fun ^_^ I still do like the songs of theirs I liked before... But insulting the president at a non-political event in a foreign country was very nasty, so my vote is actually "Yes...Aren't all Southern girls polite?"

I liked their music before, and I like their music now.

Yes, I thought their comments showed a lack of class... but frankly, I don't have very high expectations of the behavior of entertainers anymore. I also think the political outrage surrounding it was overblown and somewhat exploitative-- not to mention, based on the arrogant assumption that fans and creators of country music are somehow automatically Republicans.

I don't like their latest album but I don't think it has anything to do with their politics. I just prefer their older stuff. I could like them regardless of their political stance but that song "I'm not ready to make nice" is just really freaking annoying in a way that "Goodbye Earl" and "Wide Open Spaces" aren't. If they want to bash Bush that's fine by me. But if they want to write songs complaining about how unfairly they were treated after bashing Bush that's a whining I don't find entertaining.
