Catholics and Jews have various denominations, yet they are all Catholics and Jews.

Not all Liberals or Conservatives are minted the same.

As a scholar of the ideology, you might be able to distinguish the flavors, but to we uninterested, illinformed masses... it's communism. And communism in the familiar, popular eteration has been oppressive to the very people it was geared to help and a miserable failure.

As I said earlier, please show me ONE successful eutopian communist country / government.

I agree with what your saying, but not the terminology. Perhaps I can ask for accuracy from all members when speaking on the subject: the USSR, and the satellites it developed, were Stalinist, not communist. If you're interested in communism, read Marx.

If the founder of Stalinism, Stalin, himself was flawed, then that renders the entire ideology flawed. The problem wwith Stalinism was its very warped ideology, further perverting the writings of Marx.

Bush is torture to this country. No offense to the republicans. We had a great economics system when Clinton was in office, not that I particularly like Clinton. Because of the wars, more money is going into that. OUR ECONOMY IS GROWING AND WE ARE GETTING WEAKER!

Contrarian, you're right in saying theres not been one successful communist country in the world. (then again we've never seen communism spring up in the industrialized countries Marx envisioned it for.) However, the growing boom in China can be attributed to the capitalist practices the governments been incorportating into its economy. China's been recently following a more open free-market route. Maybe China finally realized that the form of communism they have just wont cut it in the long run if they wanna become the world power they now are. They've now resorted to what they call a socialist market economy, and from what I can see, it seems to be workin well for their economy.

Bush has disgusted me for a long time. I tried to like him when he first got elected, but all I saw in him was greed, lies and conflict. He truely needs to be impeached, but he won't because the republicans are ruleing the contry right now
