Remember Gregoire defeating Rossi? That was from fraud.

The initial recount was required by Washington state law as Rossi's margin was under 2000 votes, so an automatic count was done. The count dropped his lead from 261 votes to 42 votes.

At this point, the state DNC asked for a manual recount, which can be requested as long as the party is willing to pay upfront for the manual recount. As the elections was so close, the DNC felt it was worth it, paid almost $750,000 to have the recount done. In trying to determine how the count should be done, the DNC were denied by the courts to use the universal standard.

In the process of the recount, five counties were found to have ballots that were not even counted. The DNC pushed to have them counted but the GOP tried to halt the count. As a result, the process found Gregoire ahead by 8, then later, 10 votes.

The GOP then sued to have ballots not counted in the approved legal fashion in King County, however the courts over-ruled it. The GOP then tried to sue to stop the ballot count in Pierce County which was upheld by Washington Courts....only to be overturned by the Supreme Court.

In the end, Gregoire was ahead by 129 votes. At this point, Rossi demanded a complete re-vote...not a re-count, but a whole new vote. Even the state RNC chairman said no as there is no legal clause to allow a re-vote.

There was a lawsuit brought on by the RNC after Gregoire was sworn in. The judge deemed the evidence that the RNC provided was not enough to prove how either Rossi or Gregoire could benefit from it, ordered the contests ballots eliminated from the vote tally (close to 1,700 votes) in addition to 5 more and as a result....Gregorie won by 133 votes. Rossi dropped it and finally conceded.

Gregorie won legally. I will grant you it was a mess, but the election was won fair and square just like when W beat Gore in 2000.

How can Americans trust the results of an election in which millions of ballots are mailed out to ineligible voters? Such confidence in the results cannot be restored in such a scenario.

It will take months, maybe more than a year to verify the results and then only if every ineligible ballot is removed from the counts. Such verification of ballot eligibility could take many months, plunging the nation into a state of confusion in which hordes of lawyers on both sides will fight over how to proceed while the election results remain unverified for so long a period of time. We may never be able to completely clean up the election results and then what?

Where were millions of ballots mailed to ineligible voters and to who.

My experience is they mail ballots to registered voters.

There is nothing to worry about. In some states voting has been almost exclusively done by mail for decades.

If states send ballots to ineligible voters then the election results will be tainted and it could take years of legal wrangling in courts to sort the mess out. Americans should not be expected to accept the results of a tainted election.

Not if he wins and not if the results in the election are tainted because tens of thousands of ineligible voters voted or possibly voted.

I took government classes in 1995-1996 and was taught Oregonians only vote by mail. So yeah, they have been doing it that way at least 25 years.

What was the problem?

If Oregon allows ineligible voter to vote then the election is tainted and the results unverifiable. Let's hope every state can offer acceptable verification that every voter who voted was eligible to vote.

I will pray for the only good election result on November 2 because voting will begin before I wake up. On Election Day, I will pray again hours before Hawaii's polling places close.

I doubt the vote tallies will be completed on election night. If there are no questions about the validity of the vote total then it could still take some areas weeks to get their totals together. It took Brenda Snipes weeks to get her act together even though every other precinct in the state submitted their totals within 24 hours of the poll closing. It looked like Brenda was trying to steal the election for democrats the way democrats worked for weeks in order to add enough votes to the total for Franken to win over Coleman in 2008.

Oregon didn’t pass the initiative to enact mail only voting until 1998. So you couldn’t have been taught that 95-96.

2000 was the first year Oregon conducted an mail only national election.

Democrats have too many unhinged supporters who represent a threat to America, including anarchists and screaming snowflake madmen, among others.

All states have vote by mail systems already in place. Every single one. Under the current system 83% of Americans are eligible to vote by mail.

If states can offer credible verification that no ineligible voters voted by mail then we may see the election results certified before the end of the year.

There are not "millions of ineligible voters" in Nevada. If you are ineligible to vote, you are not a voter.

Why is it that democrats are always the ones to find missing ballots after the polls close in close elections? That trick was made famous by "Landslide Lyndon" in his narrow defeat of Coke Stephenson for US Senate in 1948. His razor-thin margin was made possible by the last precinct that turned in their count on election night, with more votes for Lyndon than there were eligible voters in the county. That election also had to be resolved by the courts due to the obvious corruption in the vote tallying. The precinct with the winning total could not produce the ballots for reexamination because the elections head claimed his housekeeper had accidentally burned them the next morning.

This was another clear case of democrat voter fraud that everyone knew about. Don't let liars tell you democrats do not commit voter fraud.

If states mail ballots to every voter on the books and if significant numbers of those voters are no longer eligible to vote then we are going to have a battle on our hands if either candidate challenges the election due to contamination. I don't think states have a plan for weeding out the ballots of the ineligible voters after the election that they refused to purge from their registries before the election.

The way to find out would be to do a thorough investigation into all the ballots which were counted and to cross reference those names against the names of voters in other states or precincts and to cross reference the names against INS citizenship records, death records and criminal records. It may come to that after the 2020 election, but the verification process will likely take months.

I think at least once every 4 years. Certainly not never, like some democrat officials propose.
