Hours before his announcement of a 90 day tariff pause, Trump posted on Truth Social that 'It's a great time to buy'. He knew when he posted his big announcement that the markets would rip. Now, does anyone really believe he'd post something like that and NOT take advantage of the situation? You think people in his orbit would NOT take advantage? This is absolute pure corruption. Of course, the MAGAts won't care. They fully embrace the corruption as long as it's from Dear Leader:

If all we had was "it's a great time to buy", which was posted several hours before the announcement, there really wouldn't be much to work with. After all, if he's posting this to the world, is it truly "insider trading"? Maybe, since he knew he would announce later that day the pause.

Literally we are watching the sheep bleat and show off their complete lack of any sort of financial knowledge.

You: "Hey X stock (like Apple or Nvidia) which is basically a blue chip of the stock sector and it will never be going anywhere is down like 20! This is proof Trump sucks" (but still up 3% from where it was a year ago.)

Me: "That sounds like a hell of an opportunity. Time to buy some dips and jump in and out of this thing on the way back up. I'll be playing with "HOUSE MONEY" each time I lock in the gains and decide to go back in for another trade."

You: "You made a bunch of money. This must be insider trading. You had to have inside knowledge this was going to happen."

Me: "It's called reading the market and having financial sense. I literally told you I was going to do it. You literally told me I was an idiot for buying and would lose all my money."

You: "This is suspect, we need an investigation because the world keeps working the way they say it will and not the way my "expertise" declares it should work. They have to be cheating."

Normally, the SEC would investigate something like this. They won't investigate.

Even if they did, the SCOTUS gave Trump the Ultimate Get Out Of Jail Free card. All he has to do is say that everything he did was connected to an official government function, and he's immune.
