It’s a fair legitimate question. One needs to analyze the NYT timing of this release and apply critical thinking skills to the following ;

If there is no there there relative to the laptop then why come out and admit the laptop is legitimate?

Is it to send Biden to the showers?

=============

It is painfully obvious, as was predictable, that Joe Biden’s presidency is a dumpster fire. As demonstrated by the party’s destructive callousness towards children, the elderly, and the poor during their Covid lockdown frenzy, Democrats care about none of these real-world results of their policies. But they do care about polling, and Joe Biden’s is abysmal.

According to even heavily politicized polls, Biden is at least performing as badly as Donald Trump. Biden is between the third- and fifth-most ratings-underwater president ever in American history at this point in his first term.

Nobody cares. You guys have proven that corrupt amoral candidates can succeed, even excel in your party, why should it make any difference in ours?

You forgot to mention the most important things when comparing/contrasting Biden and Trump. Trump lied to every American about the COVID pandemic, which he admitted to on audio recording in an interview with Bob Woodward, and Trump is, and always has been, a threat to U.S. national security, who is the only POTUS in U.S. history to attempt a coup to prevent the peaceful transfer from a defeated POTUS to a duly POTUS-Elect, which is the bedrock of our U.S. democratic republic. We won't get into the Helsinki Press Conference in which Trump kissed Putin's ass in front of the entire civilized world, as he professed he trusted Putin's word over our very own U.S. Intel, or how he publicly, and repeatedly, told the world how he "fell in love" with the murderous North Korean, Communist dictator, Kim Jung UN.

So you are admitting to the fact the Biden Crime family is akin to the ones across the isle?

Corrupt.

Cool.

Just because you want to believe something about another person, that doesn't excuse what you know about the person this thread is talking about.

Comparing Biden to Trump isn't what the OP's article is about. It's about whether his puppet masters are setting things up so they can dump him.

"Joe Biden is no longer useful to the ruling class."

As the writer says...

"Enjoy that bed you made for yourselves, Democrats. I hope it’s at least as uncomfortable as that bed you’ve made for all the Americans whose long-term outlook is more suffering, thanks to Democrats’ criminal prioritization of power for themselves above all else."

Might be worth a couple of minutes looking up the difference between 'amoral' and 'immoral'.

Conspiracy theories are about all we have left now.

No, and your citation of the New York Times, a publication you've called fake news about 10,000 times is beyond ironic.

I am saying its not a question to even consider at present. Its not a standard we need to apply to our candidates because voters in 2016 said they no longer care. Our job is to win national elections. Until you guys set an new and higher standard, we don't need to.

No. The premise behind the notion of a 'set up' is that the set-up is needed to more safely or effectively accomplish the goal behind the set-up. That premise is out of date, and everyone can plainly see from the Trump election and the continued support of the GOP, that the premise is out of date. Nobody cares if Hunter is the tip of some criminal conduct, because criminal conduct does not have anything to do with being elected or supported.
There is no reason to set this up because Its irrelevant to voters and politicians now.

Joe Biden is a product of America's political system, one of the most corrupt on Earth. To Biden's credit it, he's better than most, consider he's historically been center or center-right on most issues. Biden is probably caught between trying to appease his corporate alliances, which he will pass along to his successor, and trying to do the right thing. And since Biden is close to the end of his career, there are times when he does the right thing. Ending the war in Afghanistan, for example. His handling of Russia/Ukraine. On foreign policy he's actually been decent, with some exceptions.

I don't read the Federalist, because I'm a serious person and not a hack.

Seriously, Those propaganda pushing assholes at the Times aren't feeling guilty. I think they got some inside information from lib buddies inside DOJ that little Hunter is going down. Hard. They don't want to look stupid.
