Did the Grand Canyon take 65 million to form?

Of course it it. How did all the matter come about? From nothing? Nothing ever could.
By that "logic," how did God come about? All matter and energy came from the Big Bang. The evidence supports that. But if something is unknown, the honest answer is we don't know. "God did it" is just an intellectually lazy and dishonest answer, as well as only an assumption.

There are other large canyons that took a short period of time to form around the world as well. Real scientists never say science is solved. That's a political issue.

"Let me introduce you to Burlingame Canyon near Walla Walla, Washington. It measures 1500 feet long, up to 120 feet deep, and 120 feet wide, winding through a hillside. A small-scale analogy to Grand Canyon it was observed to form in less than six days."

"Many believe that this 277-mile long gorge had formed over millions of years, but another famous North American landmark shows that the Grand Canyon could have been created much faster and not long ago."

"Flowers may be convinced that her new results are reliable, but other experts are not. State University of New York geologist Richard Young told Science NOW that despite this new study, "there's a lot of evidence for a young Grand Canyon."5 And California Institute of Technology geologist Brian Wernicke said, "It's hard to look at a landscape and discern its erosional history."

Amidst the strata of the Burlingame Canyon are layers of volcanic ash. Where do you think those layers of volcanic ash came from?

"Glanced?" That's studying? LOL!!! You are no scientist or educator for sure. My father, a Jew, read the Koran, Book of Mormon, New Testament and many other religious books of other religions. He was a true student of religion. You are not a student of science.
I use "glanced" when I'm aware of some stuff but don't have a bunch of info on it, and I have a terrible time remembering specifics about stuff generally.

Where did the Big Bang come from and all the energy (matter)? Hmmmm? Come on, you can do it!!! GOD! It's the only logical possible answer...

This presents the same dilemma.

Where did God from and all that energy to create the universe? Hmmmm? Come on, you can do it!!! The GodCreator! It's the only logical possible answer...

Where did the GodCreator come from and all that energy to create God? Hmmmm? Come on, you can do it!!! The GodCreatorCreator! It's the only logical possible answer...

etc...

If the mere existence of something were enough to conclude that it was created by a sentient being for some purpose, then how would you explain Michael Bay movies?

What an ignorant answer...
No, a very accurate one.

No, the honest answer is "we do not know." Using "god" as an answer is no different than saying it is from fairies, leprechauns, or gnomes.

Same to you but more of it :-/~
Dumpkings is pathetic. Does and says exactly the opposite and you guys still believe him. LOL! Blind Faith for sure.
More Pee Wee Herman responses. That seems to be the best you can do.
