With 14,000 agents and only a few handfulls looking at hillary, I doubt it.

A verbal directive not to scrutinize muslems? I don't have any evidence to support that but in today's environment I wouldn't be at all suprized.

My guess is no. The agents working on the criminal investigation into Hillary's State Department likely require a different type of expertise than the agents chasing down leads on religious terrorists.

I have no idea how the FBI allocates its manpower. However, at some point it had to have become obvious that under Obama and AG Lynch anybody and anything assigned to Clinton investigations would amount to little more than investigative masturbation.

To add: Morale in the FBI probably suffers under all the crap those men and women are expected to do. I've met a few agents and they are one hell of a dedicated group of people. Still, the terrorist vigilance and investigations probably drain them mentally, emotionally and physically after a while. Throw into that mix a very high profile investigation into a case that will never likely see the true light of day and it probably blows being an agent these days.

I don't think so, but i think it's a reasonable question that can't be explained away by citing the number of FBI employees without context.

More specifically, why are we spending so many resources investigating something where there is absolutely no evidence of criminal intent while our citizens are exposed to actual dangers ?

From my experience the more extreme your views, the less information you're willing to expose yourself to, and are therefore by default and definition more ignorant.
