Did it bother anyone that Pence's wife took her mask off against the rules at the debate last night?

It bothered me. Considering Pence right out of the gate didn't respect the rules of the debate when he constantly went over his time (Yes I know Harris did too later on when it was obvious the moderator was letting Pence slide.)

To me both of the above tell me there is a sense an entitlement with the VP an his wife. These people do have special privileges, but they aren't royalty, and she has no right to endanger other people's lives. For we all know he and she may test positive soon.

Reminds me or when he visited Mackinaw Island with his entourage of vehicles, where vehicles are not allowed on the island unless for absolutely essential business. Yes I know it may have been essential for his security, but perhaps he should have stayed away. I know many of the locals were furious.

If she doesn't have Covid-19 she isn't endangering anyones life.

She literally lives with a guy who’s spent lots of time in close contact with multiple COVID positive patients, and he could turn up positive any day.

she also was under the rules that required her to wear a mask at all times.

It bothered me more that she wasn't escorted out, as the venue insisted would happen.

And yes, 'entitlement' describes it well. For all our decrying Pence being a benign lapdog, he has become more Trumpian without a doubt.

Meh...not really upset... That she's be a Mask Karen is not surprising at all... Gross, yes, but how can one be upset when they have no expectations of decency?

She lives with someone that has been exposed, and I assume so has she, so per the CDC they should be self quarantined for 14 days, it has not been 14 days. Period

So she can flaunt the rules according to you, but everyone else in the room can't? WTF?!

And just because her last test was negative doesn't mean she doesn't have it. If you had been paying attention plenty of those in the Whitehouse tested negative day after day until Bingo they tased positive. There is a period of time where the virus doesn't show up in a test but it could be contagious. Hence the mask and distancing requirement in the room.

If the left side knew so much better about what to do for the covid19 Why did they let people die.? Instead they blame it on Trump. I do not blame anyone. It happened a part of science.

The "set an example" is often used as a way to impose restrictions on others you do not agree with

And that ladies and gentlemen is why have have 4 percent of the population of the planet but 20 percent of the cases. It's all about freedumb!

"freedom" actually means something to quite a few Americans.

So in your world the government is not responsible for poor policy that gets people killed and no one does anything? And since when did the "left" have control of the response of this administration?

Since she is close to a COVID hot spot, she is at high risk of exposure. There is no way to tell is she is infected or not. She could be infected and contagious without testing positive.

Don't lecture me on freedom. I put on a uniform to protect it.
There is a difference between freedom and being irresponsible.

If freedom has no bounds yelling fire in a theater would be just fine.
