Bipartisan Senate Intel report details Trump campaign contacts with Russia in 2016, adding to Mueller findings - CNNPolitics
It seems that the Senate Intel committee just filed a 1000 page report on the 2016 election which included the Mueller report. Not only did the report show the Russians did everything they could to help Trump get elected, but that the Trump people had multiple contacts with Russians including Russian agents. I shows the the Trump people went out their way to have the RUssians help the campaign. It also states that Trump might have lied to Mueller, which as everyone knows is a felony. All in all it puts into question all of the investigations started by Barr into the 2016 election, including the Durham report and now the Johnson investigations which Ron Johnson has said would help get trump elected. Anyone with a working brain knew all of these investiagations were politically motivated, but this report may put them all to bed.

Trump is still colluding with Russian intelligence agents.....

Trump retweets purported audio of Biden call with Ukraine

They went beyond Mueller who IMO simply took his Prosecutorial role too out to the nth degree exposing himself to Barr's hijinks.

The Intel Committee report clearly determines in the text that Paul Manafort's as Campaign Manager in his conduct with Konstantin Kilemnik outlined there is the very essence of COLLUSION.

In particular, the committee’s investigation found that Manafort “represented a grave counterintelligence threat” due to his relationship with Kilimnik and other Russians connected to the country’s intelligence services — a conclusion that underscores how Russia developed a direct pipeline to the upper echelons of a U.S. presidential campaign.

Kilimnik is described as not only aiding the Russian interference effort but working with Manafort and allies in Ukraine to help cover up evidence of Russia’s involvement — and spread false allegations that it was Ukrainians who interfered instead.

Although Mueller’s report described Kilimnik as simply having “ties” to Russian intelligence, the Senate panel said a more probing analysis revealed him to be a Russian intelligence officer carrying out Kremlin-backed influence operations abroad. In a heavily redacted section of the report, the committee delves into its own assessment of Kilimnik, describing an extensive body of evidence, including communications that reveal Kilimnik misleading even close associates about his connections to Russia.

The report also implicates Trump directly. While the president told Mueller that he did not “recall” discussing WikiLeaks with campaign adviser Roger Stone, the committee “assesses that Trump did, in fact, speak with Stone about WikiLeaks and with members of his campaign about Stone’s access to WikiLeaks on multiple occasions.” In other words, Trump lied under oath about his discussions with Stone regarding Wikileaks and the source of its info dump and Trump was not the only Campaign or administration official that either lied to Mueller or lied to Congress.

Although the report stops short of suggesting that Trump or his campaign “colluded” with Russia, it echoes Mueller’s findings that the campaign sought and welcomed Russian interference in the 2016 election, amplifying the results of its hacking operation despite the knowledge of its likely foreign provenance and seeking advance knowledge of the hacked materials.

Of course in the end the Senate Intel report stops short of suggesting that Trump or his campaign "colluded" with Russia. Its run by the GOP. Lets just put our hands over our eyes and scream LALALALA as loud as we can. We would not want to hear the truth screaming at us from our own report now would we. But it is a pretty transparent effort on the part of the GOP Senators on that committee to simply not take the last step off the cliff edge as all of the damning evidence in the their Report is material they signed off on. The vote in committee was the same as it has been all along during their investigation.....14 in support of the Report, 1 against.

You forgot the most important conclusion.... That there was NO EVIDENCE what so ever that anyone from the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to manipulate the 2016 election... NONE!

So in that sense, it very much confirmed what the Mueller report concluded.

BS...the GOP Senators know its BS and if you read the Report you will know its BS. The report outlines in detail the very essence of COLLUSION. The GOP is simply unwilling to see the truth written into its own report choosing instead to put its hands over its eyes and shout LALALALALA at the top of its lungs.

The GOP appendix claims no collusion. The DEM panel appendix says the exact opposite and the details within the Report itself says the exact opposite.

The Report does not charge a CONSPIRACY but then goes on to imply that the campaign was simply TOO STUPID to pull off a CONSPIRACY.

Is it any wonder that ButtBoy DeJoy got caught with his hand in the cookie jar for DonDon at the USPS and is backpedaling as hard as his little feet will let him.

Not so fast ButtBoy. You are still getting sued five ways from Sunday.

The appendix is the section of the report used to play politics... The democrats unanimously agreed with those conclusions, and in today's political climate that speaks VOLUMES... That's what really matters here, not the political posturing section.

The Intel report said there was no evidence of a conspiracy.
Durham is investigating why then there was an investigation into an allegation with no evidence backing it up.

The report said that Kilimnik may have been a Russian agent. It says it doesn't know why Manafort passed along polling data (though Manafort said he did it for money).
It implies that Trump lied about convesations the substance of which demonstrates there was no conspiracy.

Isn't an investigation supposed to see if there is evidence, and this report points out that there were many meetings between Trump people and Russians including Manafort meeting with an agent of the Russian secret service. Seems pretty obvious that our intel agencies should be looking into something like this.

Supposed to have evidence (facts) before an investigation.
