Biden shaking invisible hands and wandering around lost on a small stage and now Feinstein who even democrats see is losing her cognitive ability. The DNC is becoming the party of geriatric old burnout liberals from the 60s.

"others familiar with Feinstein’s situation describe her as seriously struggling, and say it has been evident for several years. Speaking on background, and with respect for her accomplished career, they say her short-term memory has grown so poor that she often forgets she has been briefed on a topic, accusing her staff of failing to do so just after they have. They describe Feinstein as forgetting what she has said and getting upset when she can’t keep up. One aide to another senator described what he called a “Kabuki” meeting in which Feinstein’s staff tried to steer her through a proposed piece of legislation that she protested was “just words” which “make no sense.” Feinstein’s staff has said that sometimes she seems herself, and other times unreachable. “The staff is in such a bad position,” a former Senate aide who still has business in Congress said. “They have to defend her and make her seem normal.”

As an 85-year-old, I agree that there should be a limit on how old elected and appointed officials can be.

President Biden should not even think of a second term. It would make the U.S. a laughing stock. And it would be dangerous. The German Nazis persuaded Germany's senile President (and WW I hero) to appoint Hitler as Chancellor, and we all know how that turned out.

Hear tell our Governor hopes that Senator F. resigns so that he can appoint a (politically correct) replacement instead of waiting for someone to be elected in 2024. Our governor, it is said, may want to be the 2024 Dem candidate

Old folks like President Biden and Senator F. and -- of course -- Speaker P. have been at the public trough long enough and should now have the decency to make room for the (comparative) youngsters. (And that goes for the old fuds on the Supreme Court, too.)

There will be a CA Senate (US Senate) election in 2024 whether or not Mrs. Feinstein is in office or not.

Hear tell that President Reagan's closest aides and friends were really close to using that Constitutional amendment to depose him.

But on the day of the planned coup, the President was so exceptionally lucid that the plotters canceled their plans.

As General de Gaulle once observed: Old age is a ship wreck. Being 85, I can heartily agree.

(Maybe Queen Elizabeth should retire and let the next-in-line take over. That's what the Emperor of Japan recently did.)

If she resigns now, however, her replacement will gain enough name recognition to have a better chance of winning in the 2024 election.
