Detroit police arrested four men for allegedly threatening on Facebook to kill police officers, police Chief James Craig said Sunday.

One of the men reportedly posted: “All lives can’t matter until black lives matter. Kill all white cops.”

The arrests of the four African-American Detroiters follow Thursday’s slayings of five Dallas officers by a black sniper during a protest march. The man blamed for the killings and injuries to seven others reportedly told police he wanted to kill as many white cops as possible.

This is the kind of crap that these dopes dwell on...and if we don't want the riots of '68, community leaders better get a handle on it.

Between booze, drugs and emotional retardation, in certain communities, we do have a powder keg.

The lack of a strong father image in so many households and the double lives being led by so many of these guys, is a real community problem.

And how do you suppose we fix that?

And how do you suppose we fix that?

It's a long solve, but we need to start by getting rid of the massive marriage penalties that we have built into our social safety net and tax code. We viciously punish poor families if they try to get married. Ergo, fewer of them do.

That does not really solve anything. The younger generation does not get married until very late sometimes even after they have had children. Why would marriage solve these problems?

And how do you suppose we fix that?

That is the challenge. 50 years of misguided social policies will be hard to correct. Too many voters profit from them and they have been and are the central theme of the whole Democratic Party.

And how do you suppose we fix that?

I don't know if it is fixable. It may be too far gone. Too many passes for Black offenders, too little responsibility and discipline taught in the homes and at schools, lawlessness and teacher assaults and rapes at schools.....and about 4 decades of Democrat pandering, entitlements and enabling.

Four guys on FB ...does not make a revolution.

people of all colors have had a mistrust and hated of the police for a long time.

Posting on FB is a Democrat Party policy?

Does anyone have a link to the actual FB posts. The Police do not get to decide what speech is constitutional or not.

The four's FB may be vile and totally without any redeeming social value...but they may be within the parameter of Free Speech.

SO these cops are abusing their authority because they had bad daddies?

not finding it on their site, but i stopped on face the nation sunday morning

the dallas shootings, and the two shootings that led to the marches were the main topics

and the exact same question came up....and one of the black lady panelists had about the best answer i have heard on it

paraphrasing her here....We need to get back to the church. Back to before the age of mlk, and the protests of the 60's. We had family units then, and they for the most part, went to church, and had jobs, and raised their kids the best they could. They may have been segregated against, and not had the opportunities we have today, but a son knew who his father was, and the neighborhoods though poor, helped raise the kids by watching out for them. And where would you find most on Sunday mornings? In some sort of church, being a family."

It isnt the only answer....hell, it may not be much of one....but it rings true. Since the 60's the number of kids born out of wedlock, and into one parent homes has gone into nearly the 80% range for black families. We are NOT going to solve any problems until family becomes important to that community again. It is so much easier to raise kids when two parents are working at it, and bringing in the money as opposed to a single mom or dad.

Whites, asians, hispanics have some of the same issues, but nowhere near the same numbers.

Someone has to figure out the why, and fix it

You are right but the police are the first step to getting this case to court.

Judges will decide that matter.

I have to strongly disagree mostly because I cannot stand religion and policies supported by church organizations stand to just make it worse. You also cannot make a family out of one that does not exist. I believe that education is the key if we provide them with education as well as teaching them proper sex education and family planning. Give them opportunities, teach them having children young and working next to nothing is not a future you have to live. Open up for resources to help them, fund education at a state level instead of locally. Promote the trades.

we have been teaching sex education since what....the early 70's

and earlier and earlier in the classrooms?

that doesnt appear to be working.....

give them opportunities....how?

we give them a chance at free education up to the 12th grade

we have how many programs in place for kids who want use them after that? i have lost count....

how much money has been thrown at program after program tied to these communities in the last 50 years?

and are they better off today than they were in the 50's?

or are gangs, child pregnancy, violence, poverty, and hopelessness just gotten worse a little more each year?

your way isnt working.....and i know the progressive point of view is we havent thrown enough money at the problem....

but some of us think you guys are just knocking your heads into the same brick wall.....

hope and change was this presidents message.....i was hoping it would especially be for the black community

i dont see much hope, and very little change

Most states do not provide proper sex education especially in the South where sex education is almost exclusively abstinence-only. They need real sex education, access to birth control, etc. We need to provide more opportunities, youth work programs, trade education, apprenticeships, mentoring, etc. Things that are not being done. Then it has to be shown that these programs exist, make the students aware of it. These programs cost money and so does running good schools. Right now people like you believe all they need to do is in class in an underfunded school and that provides sufficient education and they believe that school is pointless and will do thing for them, it is just reinforcing that.

Things like gangs, violence, teen pregnancy, and poverty have actually been in decline over the last few decades. The Church can do nothing except that having large families are good and they are not in control of their lives.

Those four guys are indicative of the systemic problem throughout the country. Stop trying to make it out like it's an isolated incident!

That's what I have been saying for decades! The immorality and lack of corporal punishment in this country, is appalling! But.......it flies in the face of liberalism, and liberalism is at the heart of our problems!

I'm sorry for you on religion....but respecting and honoring God, comes first. Education of the Ten Commandments and adherence to those is key.
Here is the sex education I got as a kid from my Dad..."if you ever get a girl pregnant, I will beat your butt until you can't feel it any longer"...and then after I eat dinner, I will beat you some more."

Since my Dad, had a pretty steady track record on the use of a razor strap for any missteps by me, I got the message. I used the same method of discipline for all my kids. It works and the bleeding heart libs can go **** themselves.

And that friend is what is missing in families today!

I didn't fear the police or the courts.....I feared my Father!

Abstinence works,....every time it's tried! And a razor strap reinforces that.

I've seen more money wasted over the last 40 years than I can remember! Pouring money into liberalism is nuts! That's the Democrat answer...we need more money. For what? To teach more Darwinism garbage, Global Warming baloney, safe sex? And waste those tax dollars on uber liberal incompetent teachers? And waste more money on programs of all kinds that don't work and are more liberal nonsense? Poppycock!

The Federal Government is the biggest abuser and waster of taxpayer dollars in America....followed by schools!

Before pouring any more money into them, the curriculum and lack of corporal punishment, needs fixing first!

Abstinence education is complete and utter bull****. Much like you. It is ineffective, kids are going have sex, they might as well be taught to do it safely. It is why you have kids getting pregnant at 16, they do not know how important having safe sex is. Religion has done nothing for society and never will. Maybe if your dad had raised you right he would not have needed to use a strap to teach you a lesson. Maybe he could beat some sense into you.

Gee, do I detect a note of hostility and rebuke? Maybe a little jealousy?

I didn't get anyone preggos as a teen, neither did my brother or my cousins. We all had strict parents who ruled the house and were the boss. Religion and fear of God, is sadly lacking in America and a root cause of our problems. And wishy washy parents who are weak and want to be friends with their kids, instead of the parents, are a further problem.
It's sad that you have this kind of attitude....and FYI, my Dad raised me right. Growing up, I did no illegal drugs, no crimes, no disrespect for anyone, went to Church and honored my parents and the Ten Commandments.

And you know what?......There is nothing wrong with any of that.

Saying that I am utter bull****, reflects more on your deficiencies .....than me...

That worked for you but it does not work for many. Do you think teens are getting pregnant on purpose? No. They are getting pregnant at 14 because they do not know how to have safe sex. It also does not take religion and the fear of god to raise to good children, it takes good parenting and good education. More often than not instilling children with religion and a fear of god is a very bad thing, it leads to sheltered and mentally unprepared children that cannot function in a normal secular society. I never did any of that either and I despise religion and god.

Too bad for you.

I had a Catholic education from K-12. My parents made little money but made sure I had a good sound, fundamentally moral, education. And my Dad wasn't even Catholic and he had only had a superficial Baptist upbringing, but he recognized the fact that a good moral upbringing was essential. I had to tow the mark in school and he told the nuns to do whatever was necessary if I got out of line. He also backed the priests that I had in high school. Always knowing that, meant that I was an exemplary student, as far as behavior.
Yes, it did work for me and for thousands of others... millions even.
I agree, nowadays, learning safe sex is a must, because there are sooo many temptations and brainwashing, from TV ads, TV shows, movies, peers and commercial product ads.
