Pentagon has acknowledged for the first time that all detainees held by the U.S. military are covered by an article of the Geneva Conventions that bars inhumane treatment, according to a memo made public on Tuesday.

In any event, it means that the detaineed are now POWs.

It also means that there's no question that they do not get a trial or a lawyer or access to any court.

Nope, not like that s**t is fun, but it can work, you don't torture them, you torture someone they love.

No that's the point under the Geneva Convention both physical and psychological coercion are prohibited.
