I don't know what a court edict is, was there finally a ruling on this?

I don't agree, but I am happy we finally have some conclusion to this issue.

Well there is a solution: take no prisoners, execute all non-uniformed combatants on site for espionage.

I agree, we should have just killed them on sight, and saved ourselves a lot of aggravation, I mean, that is what they want.

How about that. Must be an election year.

This is the 2nd thread on this subject.

In any event, it means that the detaineed are now POWs.

It also means that there's no question that they do not get a trial or a lawyer or access to any court.

Nope, not like that s**t is fun, but it can work, you don't torture them, you torture someone they love.

Anyway, I think that the mind game is the most efficient form of torture, and this is still acceptable, but I suppose this will be too harsh as well.:(
