...he seems to have put a round down the barrel of the weapon the bad guy was using!!!

Jeffco deputy cleared in Aurora shooting at attempted robbery suspects - Aurora Sentinel

One of Marquez’s bullets struck Meshesha’s pistol, traveling straight down that gun’s barrel and disabling it. Police called the shot “one in a billion.”

As an aside, it's nice to know that the deputy was found to have lawfully returned fire after taking two rounds from the perps.

Gotta be a record. Call the Guinness Book folks, and while we're at it, call Ripley's...

It was awfully nice of them to give him the opportunity to have to defend himself for defending himself from a guy that shot him in the shoulder and abdomen in an attempt to kill him by returning fire. I can't believe there aren't protests for his prosecution, but, maybe there's not a video that only shows part of what happened so that we can make unfounded conclusions and call for his head. Now, if the guy that was shot by the cop had been selling illegal pirated CD's... who knows?

Wow!, That is all I have, been shooting since dirt was young and have never seen or heard of any such thing, amazing. The cop should be given the gun with the round in it as is, but I doubt they left it.

Seriously? I always wondered what would happen, but always thought it never could.
Did anyone else think of that sniper shot in 'Saving Private Ryan'?

That was one of my first thoughts!

Ha! Talk about incontrovertible proof of a justified shooting. There is only one way that shot happens!
