just when you thought the conservatives were big spenders!!!

Brady's analysis found that health care represented the largest spending category at $28.8 billion, or 36 percent of the total agenda. Within this category, Democrats proposed to "fix the Medicare prescription drug program," which would cost $29.5 billion annually.

if you think spending is bad now.....just elect the democrats. that way, we can stop protecting America from terrorists, and increase spending at the same time.

CNS News is not a news organization, but a shill for the Bush Administration, but if you want to use that, that is fine. Just as fair and balanced as your link would be this organization's report, which declares that Bush is a member of NAMBLA, a member of a gay association, and a member of a group of ritualistic cannibals.

So now we know what the Bush agenda is, right? Hey, its just as realistic as what you posted. Besides, we already have the evidence of all the gays in the Republican party who have been outed, including a couple who like little boys.

Funny part is that the republicans are fear mongering with "The Liberals gonna raise your taxes", and yet to do that, they have to get past Bush and his veto..........

In conducting his review, Brady tracked the fiscal impact of proposed legislation listed in "The New Direction for America Book," a 31-page document posted at the website of House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the California Democrat who could become speaker of the chamber if Democrats make a net gain of 15 seats in the Nov. 7 midterm election.

how exactly did the idiots on your site perform their research again?

sometimes you are so far out in left field its amazing.

Well still is valid.. the Dems cant raise taxes without Bush and need to get rid of him or bring him onboard to do so. I could understand using the tactic in 2 years time, but now? Its really crying wolf.

And for the record, I think the Republicans will "win" on Tuesday, so it aint gonna matter.

Fiscally, you're describing 10 days worth of $ in Iraq. We've been in Iraq over 3 years.

Oh yeah, who was in office the last time we had a balanced budget?

A Conservative House of Representatives.

I firmly believe that if the dems take over the HOR regardles of what Pelosi says the first 3 things she will try and do is:

1. Cut off funds for our troops in Iraq

2. Cancel the Bush Tax cuts

3. Begin proceeding to Impeach President Bush

Of they are masters of politisizing leglislation. They'll tie it to an appropriation for Iraq if they have to, but one thing for sure they will not authorize the continuation of the current tax cuts which will raise taxes.

Which has the pro-debt crowd in an uproar.

Taxes and spending are two different things. Interesting how a thread purporting to discuss taxes gets twisted into one that conflates spending as the result of taxes rather than taxes being required in order to support spending.

The spending has already happened, and unless people are so deluded as to think it's just monopoly play money we are talking about here, how else can we pay for what we have already spent if not through taxes?

DUH!

Those credit cards are sure nice, but at some point the bank is going to expect to be paid back.

So not only do you expect me to pay for your retirement, you want the government to put your tax cut on nation's credit card and for me to pay for that as well.

Welfare queen.
