Moderate
Yes, Senator Sanders is too old to be President, but probably enough Americans would vote for him over any Republican. And this time, the Dem bigwigs would choose a competent Vice President.

At least he would be openly liberal or even woke. He would not be like Candidate Biden who promised to be a moderate.

The cutest thing about Senator Sanders is seeing film of him haranguing the crowds when he was a young firebrand.

He is a real character!

Why Grandpappy! Have you had a change of heart?

I don't see anything else but Joe Biden for you Grandpappy.

You people like dictators that get old and senile? Well, we have to have same thing. Just so we know, so we get a taste of everything.

I'd vote for Bernie over any probable candidate that I'm aware of.

Age is not an issue in Bernie's case. He remains as active, as involved, as enthusiastic and as capable as ever.

If Biden runs, however, Bernie won't.

I was once a Bernie bro. Hard to believe, right?
Bernie is a populist, so some of his stuff makes sense.
The commie stuff? Not so much.

Actually, no. Your next line gives us a clue.

Bernie is a populist, so some of his stuff makes sense.

Right-wing populists and left-wing populists are very different in some respects and very similar in others. I don't feel like wasting an elaborate description right now, but I do know that in 2016, quite a few Sanders fans turned into trump supporters.

The commie stuff? Not so much.

"Commie"! Drink! 😄

I never knew.

Bernie would have been the sure thing in 2016.

The Bernie / Warren ticket was something I was hoping to see in 2020. I need the laughs badly then. Not so much today.

Bernie's moment has passed. If the old style Left wants to be the Democratic nominee, it has to be someone else. I don't personally think there is enough support to get the nomination on the left side of the party but may Sherrod Brown (D-OH) could pull it off.

Bernie is too socialist. Dems will need to shift gears if they want to have any chance of keeping executive power in the White House in '24.

They would be well advised to dump Calamity Joe and find a moderate who doesn't have dementia.

The DNC hates Bernie so much that they gave us Trump and Biden.

Think about it - but for the DNC, we'd be 1 year into Bernie's second term.

Bernie is much younger than Biden .............then again so is AOC. Though I would rather see AOC as speaker of the House.
