Rasmussen has Trump at a -12 approval rating and that's the usual polling site that has his highest rating numbers; them and Harris Interactive. If Rasmussen is showing a higher disapproval rating, then it there might be a problem.

Actually I believe the invite was sent weeks ago....her recent letter is asking him to postpone the SOTU address.

Meh. I think you misjudge her. She is not trolling Trump just to troll him. She is not him. That is what he does to people. She is a partisan through and through. No doubt there. I realize I am most likely responding to a Russian bot and would have better luck talking to a television set but I couldn't help but notice, at the time I read this post, the only likes it had was from the other two Russian bots we have here at DP.

They label the bot "conservative or very conservative." That should anger the real conservatives. They are making those guys look pretty stupid by label identity.

She can’t stop him from giving a State of the Union address but she can certainly prevent it from being given in the House chambers. Both the House and the Senate have to pass a resolution “inviting” the President to give the address there at a particular date and time. Nancy could prevent such a resolution from being voted on. It would certainly be petty under normal circumstances. But with the government shutdown and the VERY high security requirements for a joint session SOTU address, her point has some logistical merit.

A lotta onion-heads can't seem to wrap their heads around the idea that congress is equal to the executive branch (POTUS.) Nancy, if I understand it correctly, being the head of the House, that would make her the top-dog in congress. (There's an actual name for female dogs. Just thought I'd throw that in there.) And Comrade Trump, (f that's his REAL name) being the POTUS, he is the top-dog of the Executive Branch. Being the branches are separate and equal, by definition, that puts the two on somewhat of an equal footing.

True Trump cultists can't imagine ANYONE being equal to their Messiah. Especially a woman.
