I do not want Harris to be the next candidate for the democrat party.

If Harris is the nominee for some reason it would depend on who the right nominates, but assuming they are nominating a Trump lackey, then I hope she is the next POTUS.

I want the Republican candidate to be defeated. That party has gone batshit, and must be forced at the polls to find some semblance of sanity. As Democrats are the only effective way to fight back against Republicans, i hope that they choose the most viable candidate for each office.

She was a disaster during the primaries, her at best checkered past as Cali's AG was and is disqualifying (also I love being right/vindicated about her as per the hyperlink), and she shouldn't even be vice with her performance being predictably underwhelming. Beyond that, there is no way she's even close to being our most electable option.

It'd be great to have President Kamala, but what matters is winning so that we don't fall into fascism. Whether that means our candidate should be Kamala or not is too early to tell.

That's basically it. Support your candidate in the primaries, vote HARD in the general, with few exceptions. Texas just tried to prosecute someone for murder for having a non-medical abortion.

Corporate Dems did conspiracy against Sanders, but that's politics. I hate it, but it was a fair play. The motivation behind the conspiracy is more important than the conspiracy. Hopefully progressives learned a lesson about consolidating power in elections.

I don't think Sanders should run again, but progressives should NEVER run away from appropriate labels. It's self-defeating. The second you move to a new label, the Republicans will demonize the new label. I respect Sanders immensely for embracing the term Democratic Socialist.

Social Democrat or Democracy (different from Democratic Socialist) is the model of most Western nations.
