“Disturbing the peace” also sounds like speech. So does “obstruction” by interrupting a speaker at a public meeting like a press conference. Neither is legal.

As far has how he was removed or what was said to the senator, I can’t tell from the video. Can you provide evidence that he wasn’t asked to leave before being forced to?

Disturbing the peace can't be used to restrict someone's first amendment rights. If you don't want him to speak, someone affiliated with the venue must ask him to leave. Failing that, it isn't any law enforcement officer's job to enforce speech rules.

What we're witnessing is autocracy, just as Trump promised, and just as you, apparently, support.

When the POTUS lies to the American people about a stolen election, and then takes this lie endlessly to court; when the POTUS demands his VP violate the Constitution, it's pretty goddamed clear to any thinking human that this POTUS is not interested in democracy.

During this press conference, before the Senator was assaulted, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, said Trump's military will remain in Los Angeles in order to, "liberate the city from the socialists and the burdensome leadership that the governor and the mayor have placed on this country"

The military, the military??? The governor and the mayor were duly elected by the citizens of California and Los Angeles. It's up to voters, not the military to decide who they want to be governed by, socialists or anyone else.

You couldn't find a more classic example of an autocrat's misuse of his military...

A United States Senator was forcibly "removed" from a press conference held by a member of the current Administration.

He was forcibly "removed" because the Cabinet member cannot handle inconvenient questions? Or because trump/vance/miller knows full well GOP voters support overt displays of Administration thuggishness?
