Democrat Convention Causes Bounce in the Polls!

And what exactly do you think they prove? One must examine the poll numbers from a variety of polling companies over the campaign to see if they were accurate at the time they were taken and compare them to other polling companies taken at the same time. Only then can your claim be examined to see if there is any credibility to your claim.

Good plan.

Watch them as they close together over the next several weeks.

You will also notice that the polls showing the huge Biden Lead move closer to the Rasmussen numbers and that the ones that continue to show a big Biden lead on election day are proven to be wrong by the votes counted.

I suppose, given the voting swindle campaign being run by the Democrat-Socialists, it's more appropriate to say "election 6 week counting and revising period".

This will be a valuable learning experience for you.

Just how do you know exactly that a presidential poll ten weeks out from the election day is accurate or not?

I only know that the polls are taken by various agencies.

Rasmussen uses consistent methodologies that produce results that are less dynamic relative to other polling agencies. The other polling agencies deliver the results they are hired to deliver.

Rasmussen also seem to use pretty balanced sampling demographics and count Likely voters as opposed to outrageously oversampling some groups and including any schmo that answers their phone.

Rasmussen is cited by the Democrat-Socialist loyalists as being an "Outlier" poll because it disagrees with the polls they prefer.

The polls they prefer overweight the Democrat-Socialist sample in their polling and include many who have never voted and will not vote this time.

As the election gets closer and then is conducted, Rasmussen is proven to have been correct all along. It happens every election.

Just keep watching.

What reason do you have for dismissing them, that can't just as easily be used against any other source?

You are ignoring the question I posed to you in favor of asking me a question.

All of your verbiage does not cover the fact that you cannot show me that Rasmussen is right at this time and nearly everyone is wrong. That is what you have to prove,

Again, you offer no variable proof that Rasmussen is correct at this point in time and nearly every other polling company is wrong.

ll you present is a word salad devoid of verifiable evidence.

Okay. A broad stroke, non-specific regurgitation of nonsense.

Now please demonstrate that the President is a Fascist.

Sorry, if you actually read those characteristics and failed to see your country in the mirror, there's not much point in continuing. I'm not here to dumb myself down to your partisan-driven intellectual deficit.

I don't have to prove anything.

Obviously, I stated an opinion.

You disagree with that opinion.

That is up to you to either agree or disagree. Or to not care.

For instance, I don't care that you disagree. It does not change the fact that the polling done by Rasmussen on the day before the election last time was one of two or three that were the most accurate.

Also does not change the fact that most of the polls were publishing polling that was dramatically wrong and dramatically different than Rasmussen throughout the cycle.

The others that were close the day before the election moved closer to the results published by Rasmussen throughout the cycle. Rasmussen just churned out more of the same.

That's just the way it was. It's quite likely that the others will move closer to Rasmussen AGAIN this time.

Rasmussen seems prone to measure opinion. Others seem prone to trying to manufacture opinion. I suggest you cling bitterly to the polls that provide you with the most happiness.

We all deserve to be happy.

Past performance is the only guide I have to measure future outcomes.

You can use whatever you have found to be of value to you.

By those characteristics, Winston Churchill was a Fascist.

I don't have to prove anything.

In a debate, one presents verifiable evidence if their claims are challenged. You have failed to do so.

You have utterly FAILED to show that movement in the polls is done because the polling companies are moving closer to Rasmussen.

You have never presented any verifiable evidence that polls were wrong - at any time - during the election cycle.

In short, your opinion is worthless and devoid of actual evidence.

You have failed to demonstrate that claim with any verifiable evidence of past performance.

This whole thread is a troll thread. Rasmussen is not a respected polling agency, quite the contrary. Rasmussen has shown a consistent pattern throughout its existence: its polls skew markedly Republican and inaccurate for political reasons throughout the polling season, then, just before the election it plagiarized the "consensus" view to claim "accuracy" right before the election. In that they are, invariably, consistent. Those that know polling, know this.

The premise is that before the conventions Trump was at 48% approval in Rasmussen's notoriously pro-GOP polling and the conventions changed that. And maybe they did, since he's lower post-conventions in Rasmussen's notoriously pro-GOP polling.

Friday, August 28, 2020

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll sponsored by Liberty Nation for Friday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-two percent (52%) disapprove.

What a bounce.

What you value has no value for me.

You have failed to demonstrate that claim with any verifiable evidence of past performance.

Then you are free to act on your perception of whatever it is that you value.

The notoriously GOP-leaning Rasmussen Reports releases its first post-convention head-to-heads.

Democratic nominee Joe Biden has regained his lead following the two national political conventions in the latest Rasmussen Reports’ weekly White House Watch survey.

The new national telephone and online survey finds Biden with 49% support among Likely U.S. Voters to Trump’s 45%. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, while another three percent (3%) remain undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

A week ago, Biden and Trump were in a near tie – 46% to 45%. The former vice president has bested Trump in every weekly survey to date. The president has never earned more than 45% of the vote and doesn’t appear to have gotten any kind of bounce from last week’s Republican National Convention.

What a bounce!
